Wake up to beautiful Sunrise views at Blue Island at Marathon, an Oceanfront home designed for families and groups of up to 12 guests. Spend the day at nearby Sombrero Beach, then return to relax in the heated pool and hot tub.
The home has 5 bedrooms, 6 full bathrooms, and a Private bonus room/office. Four bedrooms have king beds. Bedrooms 3 & 4 also has a separate twin bed. The children’s bedroom has twin bunk beds, and a convertible chair bed. The bonus room/office has a full-doble bed, and the living room has two queen sofa beds.

Inside, enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, billiards, poker table, karaoke, games, and a fitness area with water views. Outside, you’ll find an outdoor kitchen with a BBQ grill, a dining area, mini golf, a children’s play area, and complimentary kayaks.

Sombrero Beach is approximately a 3-minute drive or a 10–13 minute walk from the house. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and a wagon are provided for your convenience.

The heated pool and hot tub are included year-round at no extra charge. They share a heating system and operate on separate schedules. We’re happy to consider schedule adjustments whenever possible.

Blue Island also has a private 75-foot dock with water, shore power, and a fish-cleaning area. Guests planning to bring a boat should check whether it is suitable for the canal before booking. Canal depth, tides, navigability, and seasonal sargassum conditions may vary.

Traveling with little ones? A crib, Pack ’n Plays, a high chair, and a baby bathtub are available. Guests with a Tesla can also enjoy complimentary Level 2 charging at the property.

The dock includes water, a fish-cleaning area, and shore power for added convenience.

Please note that canal depth, tides, navigability, and seasonal sargassum conditions can vary throughout the year. Guests bringing a boat are encouraged to check current tide and local water conditions before and during their stay. The Tides Near Me app can be helpful for monitoring current tides.

Because the pool and spa share the heating system, they are heated on separate schedules. We are happy to accommodate schedule adjustments whenever possible so your family can enjoy them at the times that work best for your stay.

Welcome to Blue Island at Marathon! We want you and your family to have an amazing, relaxing, and memorable stay. To help us maintain the home and ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, please review and follow these house rules.


📍 General Information

Check-In: After 4:00 PM

Check-Out: By 10:00 AM

Occupancy: Comfortably accommodates up to 12 people plus children and teens.


🚭 No Smoking Indoors

Smoking, vaping, and the use of any tobacco or cannabis products are strictly prohibited inside the home.

Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Please dispose of cigarette butts and smoking materials responsibly.


🔇 Noise & Quiet Hours

Please be respectful of our neighbors and the surrounding community.

Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• No loud music, parties, or excessive noise.

• Outdoor music and conversations should remain at a reasonable volume at all times.

🐾 Pets

While we love animals, pets are not permitted at Blue Island at Marathon.

This policy is required by our property insurance and helps us maintain the home in excellent condition for everyone staying here.
We also strive to maintain a pet-free environment for guests with allergies. Because of this, we’re unable to make exceptions or accept an additional pet fee.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

🧹 Care of the Property

Please treat our home with the same care you would your own.

• Report any damage, maintenance concerns, or accidents immediately.

• Please leave the home in reasonably tidy condition upon departure.

🏊 Pool & Spa Rules

Use of the pool, spa, dock, kayaks, and all water-related amenities is at your own risk.

For safety:

• No glass containers in the pool or spa area.

• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

• No running or diving around the pool deck.

🚤 Dock, Kayaks & Water Activities

You are welcome to enjoy the private 75-foot dock and complimentary kayaks.

• Use all water equipment at your own risk.

• Life jackets are provided and should be worn while kayaking.

• Please rinse and return equipment after use.

• Water depth varies with the tides. We recommend checking local conditions using the Tides App.

• Always lock doors and windows when leaving the home.

• Exterior security cameras are located at the front entrance and outdoor areas and are used solely for security purposes.

• No fireworks, sparklers, or open flames are permitted on the property.
