The charmer lived up to our expectations. The house had plenty of space and was absolutely beautiful. Everyone was pleased with their space, along with the game room, private pool and hot tub. Only 3 blocks from the beach. We would go back for sure. There were a few minor things but they took care of them immediately!

Wonderful place

Great place to stay with all ages of your family. Close to the beach and host was communicating well in advance for the details. Will definitely recommend and will be my 1st preference for next stay.

The house was clean, pool and hot tub worked great. We had to call maintenance one time bc hot tub wouldn’t get hot and he came right over. We had 19 people and everyone had enough space. The neighborhood was a great location. Definitely recommend. We made some awesome memories here.

Spacious and clean house

This beach house is spacious and clean, perfect for a large group. We loved the pool, and it’s only a 7-minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

Amazing!

We had an amazing time! Great location for beach and basically anything we needed. The house was exactly how it looked in the pictures and described on the VRBO site. Good people to work with. Very happy and will definitely go again.

Family vacay

Our entire family spent a week there. The home was amazing and had all the amenities that we needed. The location to the beach was awesome. Being a large family, the golf cart was a game changer. We plan to stay again next year!

we had a great family vacation in the house everything was great. I'm not a beach person so I stayed at the pool all the time and the kids in the morning pool and the beach. There was enough room for everyone, the only thing I wish there had been another washer and dryer on the second floor with 5 families we really needed it. Thanks a lot for a great home

Family for our 50th anniversary celebration

Absolutely great! Very clean, very nice equipped kitchen, wonderful beds and baths, with 20 of us all had their own bathroom. The pool and hot tub was great after a day at the beach to unwind and relax in the evenings. Very happy with this house!! Would definitely recommend.

Destin vacation

We had a great time. Check in/check out processes super simple. Home was beautiful and very clean. Lots of living dos e for everyone. Very short walk to the beach. Pool and hot tub great size for our family of 10. Golf cart really added value. Management company, owner, and pool guy very responsive to sky needs that came up. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this beach house! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. The house was just steps from the beach making our mornings and evenings unforgettable. The outdoor spaces were ideal for enjoying the sea breeze, and the kitchen was fully stocked for cooking family meals. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and every detail—from the cozy furniture to the thoughtful touches—made us feel right at home. The host was responsive, kind, and made check-in seamless. This is truly a gem of a property, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious stay by the beach! We loved having the golf cart for a quick and easy access to the beach and stores. We had minor hiccups with the pool and spa heating. Alex was very responsive with this issue and the issue resolved in no time. Stop no more to book this property with Alex and Coastal Retreats! This home is spacious with plenty of room for everyone.

This house was beautiful! Pictures are usually deceiving BUT NOT HERE! All of the rooms were sooo big. The bunkbed rooms were sooo big too which was really nice because multiple ppl are staying in them and they need extra room for their luggage. Usually the (kids/young adults) are jammed in… but not here!!! This house was VERY clean! The pool felt resort-like! All beds were comfortable! Couches were clean. They even provided each bathroom with a big hand soap, starter shampoo/conditioner, body soap, multiple rolls of toilet paper and a lot of towels & wash cloths and plenty of kitchen towels. The walk was easy. Probably 5 minutes from door to beach. A nice straight walk. Also, our contact person was so nice and communicated immediately. All 5 families (19ppl) would absolutely stay here again!!! BOOK IT

Fantastic Property!

Would recommend this property. It was clean, offered the space and amenities we needed for our family's trip. Grandkids loved the pool and games available to play. Close to the public beach and the access to a golf cart was an added benefit. Any questions were addressed promptly. We had four vehicles and parking was tight, but we managed.

The property was clean and we had a great time at the Coastal Charmer. The golf cart came in handy getting people to the beach and back. The weather was not great, so the swimming pool and patio saw a lot of activity. We did not opt for the hot tub but makes a great kiddie pool. The layout of the house is great! I like that there is a hall bathroom so people a not running through bedrooms to use a main floor toilet. We had no issues with keeping the house cool. The pool table was a popular attraction during rainy days. Since we had rainy days, the main room TV saw a lot of action. The host team was responsive to questions and requests via e-mail.Caveats: The carpet in the main room are excessively worn. There are mainly glass pans in the kitchen. The microwave sits in a cubby on the island and sits low. There are a lot of TVs in here so be sure to keep track of those remotes. There is a chandelier in the dining area that hangs between the two tables and I (being tall) hit my head on it more than once. I could have pushed the tables together to make it safer, but we'd lose seats. We did not use the toaster oven.What I learned: Press the stop button on the microwave to unlock the door. The golf cart blinker lever does not return on it's own.The process to get people on the golf cart "driver" list seems a little clunky. Not a host problem but maybe ask the cart rental folks to see if there a way to streamline the process.All in all, I would stay there again.
