Beaver Island - Little Stone Cottage

The Little Stone Cottage stands as a treasured relic, rich with decades of Island history! This quaint, charming, rustic cottage on Beaver Island is a true gem. This home sits on a 30-foot bluff overlooking Garden Island. The access to the shoreline is a 5-minute walk to North Shore Park! This home is for those who cherish a time that has long passed. It fills you with a sense of appreciation and wonder. It's simplicity and allure offer a genuine island experience.

The Little Stone Cottage has 1 bedroom (sleeps 2) and 1 bathroom. It can welcome 4 guests on occasion, as there is room for a blow-up mattress in the living room, which boasts a fantastic view of Lake Michigan. Please be aware that you MUST provide your own blow-up mattress and bedding if you intend to book for 4 guests!

** Note ** There is a TV, but NO cable TV service. If you really want to stay inside, feel free to plug in your own Firestick, Roku, or Chromecast. Wi-Fi and DVD player on site!

* Feel free to reach out if you have particular dates in mind. Adjustments may be possible.

During your stay, you have the freedom to explore the Island in different ways. Some visitors opt for biking or hiking, while others choose to reserve a spot for their vehicle on the Ferry/Beaver Island Boat Company. It's ADVISABLE to make these arrangements with the Boat Company WELL IN ADVANCE. Alternatively, renting a vehicle on the Island is just as convenient and hassle-free.

This is a unique property along the southwest side of Beaver Island. It’s a stone and wood home with so much character. The view of the water is beautiful. The place is well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. We would stay again.

This place was perfect for us! The stone stands out, but the views from this property are what really sets it apart. The huge windows, positioning on the bluff and orientation toward Garden Island all combine for the most breathtaking views right from the couch. The kitchen and bath were well appointed and the bedroom offered breezes and comfortable sleeping conditions. We really loved the location, which was close enough to town to pop over for a drink or ice cream, but far enough to feel off the beaten path. The little park just a short walk down the street offered great access to the lake and nice little daily adventure without getting in the car. The property manager was generous with information and accommodations. The Little Stone Cottage is the perfect place for you to get away from it all and experience Beaver Island the way it should be. We hope to return again soon.
