The Casita is charming. So charming that we added 6 weeks to our stay. The Casita is as described in the listing. Everything is clean, new, and nicer than we imagined from the photos. There are many thoughtful touches that make staying here especially comfortable and convenient. Location is close to Larchmont Avenue, The Grove, Paramount Studios and Hollywood attractions. The owner is charming, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend.
I travel a lot for work, and when I have the opportunity to not stay in a hotel when my assignment is lengthy, I choose to seek an alternative. I was lucky in so many ways to find this Casita. It was clean, offered all the amenities that I was looking for and most of all the host was terrific. I was there for a couple of months and I would stay again if given the opportunity and availability. When traveling is in your job description, you never feel as if you are "home" until you get back to where you choose to live. While on this assignment, I really felt as if I were going home at the end of the work day. It is in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of many good restaurants, as well as grocery and department stores. For me one of the things I enjoyed the very most was the beautiful dog that belongs to the host that would welcome me and hang out in the comfortable outdoor space available. I honestly never traveled into downtown LA, so I can't say how traffic is, but if you are working in the Beverly Hills/Century City area, the drive is easy, the traffic is typical LA traffic and it is also near some really great sites to visit, such as the Le Brea tar pits, the Hollywood sign and the Grove. So. If comfort outweighs hotel points. When you look at hotel prices and shudder. When you are on an extended stay and like the ability to do you own laundry and cook your own meals. Stay here. Feel at home. Enjoy California living, without living in California.

Thank you for the kind review! It was truly a pleasure to have you as a guest in the Casita! You are an exceptional guest and any host would be fortunate to have you in their place. You were wonderful with letting the pup hang with you nightly, and he sorely misses you! It was also a delight to meet your wife toward the end of your visit. You and/or your family will always be welcome here!

I was born and raised in LA, always happy to travel, but loved coming home to our great weather and the city that has everything to offer!
Why they chose this property
I grew up in this neighborhood! It's safe, quiet and peaceful, all while being just a couple of blocks away from the bustling La Brea Ave and Beverly Blvd. with hip shops and restaurants, and walking distance to The Grove!
What makes this property unique
This is truly an allergy-free unit! I put a great deal of thought and care into the materials used when having it built, to the items inside!
My yard is very peaceful and relaxing! Perfect for reading, writing, or catching a snooze! And if you love dogs, my senior pup is the friendliest silliest boy you've ever met! He will be your fast friend if you'd like that, but be ready to share the backyard couch with him!
