House was very clean and in a safe area of town. Mattresses and pillows were comfortable. Loved the fenced in yard for the dogs. House does strongly use air fresheners, so be wary if you have fragrance sensitivities. Overall good place to stay for a night when passing through town.

The home was good for the price. The entire home was updated except the closets. The closets were old and smelled as such. We were not able to hang our clothes. Other wise the home was clean and comfortable. The beds and lines were exceptional. We stayed for 5 days. I grew up in the neighborhood; therefore I felt safe. With a few more repairs this will be an excellent choice. Mainly everywhere that the masking tape was used.

This place is in need of a major cleaning. The vents, air conditioner intake and other surfaces (as seen in photos) were gross. I didn’t get any photos of the bathroom, but the floor needed to be scrubbed. We didn’t have any issues with check in or out, we only stayed one night. The host was communicative. I would just recommend a deep clean for this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cozy House of the South. The property was very clean and well cared for. All amenities were as promised. I was initially concerned about the safety of the location just because of how people talk about Monroe, but this was a very quiet neighborhood that felt very safe. At no point did we feel at all unsafe and loved that it was so close to the ULM campus. Our daughter who attends asked that we stay here every time that we visit her from now on bc she loved the close proximity to her dorm. My 4yo son was sleeping when we arrived the first night so didn’t see it until he woke up the next morning. I’ll add his review to mine. He checked it out and said “This place is so beautiful” and he especially loved the arcade game. So 5 stars from my 4yo also. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cozy home.

This guest had an unauthorized party and left our property littered with cigarette butts and paper. We informed the guest several times about our policy of No unauthorized parties/gatherings and yet, the guest continued to have an unauthorized party. In accordance with our rules and regulations, after guests party was verified, we immediately asked the guest(s) to vacate the property.
