About the host
Hosted by Amy Williams
I grew up and currently live in beautiful Ludington Michigan. This barn and property has been in my family for 35 years as my parents purchased it in the early 1990's. My father built the cabin in the barn mainly as a hunting camp. My husband and I remodeled the cabin in 2024/2025 and decided to make it into a short-term rental so others could enjoy the beauty of northern Michigan.
Why they chose this property
The barn/cabin sits on 60 acres of a combination of beautiful hardwoods and open fields. You will likely see various forms of wildlife as you sit outside and enjoy a relaxing fire or take a walk around the property. We are also only about 1 mile from the Wild & Scenic Pere Marquette River as well as a short drive to downtown Ludington and it's beautiful beach or a short drive to the North Country Trail where you can hike or bike for miles.
What makes this property unique
If you are looking for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of your busy life this is the place for you. This is the perfect place to stargaze without the city lights being in your way.
