Although the house itself was nice, comfortable and the owner responded quickly to messages, I cannot leave a 5-star review due to a serious issue on our last day. Roofing work was scheduled while we were still renting. (We thought they were dropping off supplies not actually replacing the roof) While maintenance itself wouldn’t have been a major problem, the roofers began knocking on the door at 6:30 a.m. and were banging so loudly fixing the roof that ceiling vents were coming loose and fell. —one nearly struck my niece.When we exited the house to leave, roofers were throwing shingles down very close to us. We had to shout for them to stop so we could safely walk by. This was not only extremely disruptive but also unsafe.When I contacted the owner, they did not appear concerned about the situation. Given the safety risk and disturbance, I believe a refund for at least one night would have been appropriate.If not for this issue I would have given a better review.
