This is the 3rd or 4th time I have stayed at this property. Good basic set up, always clean. Easy to get to downtown Morro Bay, beach access directly across highway, good supermarket a block away.
Nicely appointed, clean, and quiet place. We usually stay closer to downtown Morro Bay and found this place ideally suited for a short drive to the harbor, and very convenient for access to our favorite hiking spots up the Coast. For our travel budget, this was an excellent value...we'll definitely stay again.
Love this little spot. I was familiar with area already, as our family does Thanksgiving holiday in Morro Bay every year. Communication with manager, Mr Perez was good. Only suggestion would be, for that price the one bedroom should at least have a queen size bed. A full size bed was too small to our liking. Other than this one thing, the home and stay was perfect.
Inside was clean and cute, worked well for our stay. It is close to the road, but noise was never a problem for us. Convenient location, I’d stay here again.
I have stayed at this property several times. It is a great size for one or two people. Easy access to the highway. There is a nice grocery store right down the street along with several Mexican restaurants. Beach access directly across highway, 2 minute drive. Will probably stay here again.
This place is great for a weekend getaway for a couple. Close to the coast/ beaches, 2 towns, restaurants. About 30-45 minutes away from Paso Robles wine tasting, Pismo Beach or Farmer's markets in Cambria. House is clean and comfortable. Couch and chair to relax in after a fun day traveling around the area or relaxing around the beach.
Honestly the cutest little house very neat and clean and convenient access, everything is only a short distance very quiet and lots of space to park I would most deffinately rent again!
Very well equipped and comfortable house.
Grocery store and several restaurants are easy walking distance.
Enjoyed walking to Moro Rock and the beach.
Comfortable bed. Would stay there again.

Great cottage!
Visited family at Cal Poly and the cottage was perfect for our family of four. Son slept on the sleeper sofa while daughter used the blow-up mattress. Within walking distance to a market and restaurants and a quick drive to the beach. Great location; we were able to visit Hearst Castle, Cayucos, Pismo Beach, and San Luis Obispo in the two days we were there. Will definitely keep in mind when we return.
We arrived on Friday night of Labor Day weekend and this little spot was just right for a little getaway trip for too. Nothing too fancy, clean, and with the basics covered. The only minor challenge was in finding the lockbox with the keys. It was well hidden, late at night in the dark, and with minimal to no instruction as to where it might be it took a little bit to track down. Otherwise, all was well and we had a lovely stay. Would recommend at the price point.
Clean and serviceable, good location, meets basic needs
Pros: This property was clean, and will meet all your basic needs. Shower is good, kitchen is good. The location is about equidistant from Atascadero and SLO, very convenient location. There's a supermarket just down the street, and it's about a 3 block walk to the beach. Plenty of towels and linens.
Cons: Unfortunately, the bed is very hard. It would be nice to have some lamps in the house, everything is overhead lighting, with no dimmer switches, too bright to relax in the evening, and inconvenient for reading or close work. No outlets near the table to plug in your electronics while you work, you'll have to sit in the living room with your computer on your lap. Cupboards need to be cleaned out, expired food from previous tenants in them. No outside garbage cans, no dish drainer rack, dish towels very old and non-absorbent. Furniture in the yard is filthy.
Our expectations were exceeded (not always our Vrbo experience). Manager was very helpful and answered our many questions. We moved in and felt “home” for a week. We found we really appreciated the small view of the ocean…it was enough to be able to watch the weather. Well-appointed furnishings. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, including coffee, teas, sugar, salt/pepper, etc. No dishwasher. We have given detailed feedback to manager about our biggest challenges. I suspect they will be fixed as best as they can. (Lockbox hard to open, garbage bins hard to find, TV operating instructions non-existant). Now that we know the routines, we plan to return! We love Morro Bay!

Liked: Cleanliness, communication
Interior looks like photos
We were given two entry codes, and we had to spend time searching for the lockbox, which we eventually found at ground level behind the property. The interior is exactly as pictured. The place was clean. The bed was comfortable. There were lots of towels, extra blanket and extra pillows. It was quiet at night. There was plenty of hot water and adequate water pressure. It needs some tweaks. This was our first vacation rental that did not have coffee filters on hand, a welcome basket, a dish drying rack, and the heating not yet on for the chilly weather. The bathroom heater did not work. One base kitchen cabinet was unfinished inside and messy, with the concrete slab showing. The bit of landscaping held tall weeds and neglected plants. The exterior needs painting. The worst: the exterior view image of an empty road is misleading. It’s a busy highway.
This is a good spot for a weekend get away. Apartment was clean, and we had a store 5 min walking distance. It is a lot of restaurants at walking distance, beach is 15 min walk.
We will definitely be back.
We loved it.
Overall, very cozy and tucked away little gem of a house. It has everything you'll need for a weekend trip. Location and area are great, parking and access is very easy, couldn't ask for more.
The property was more spacious than we thought it might be. New sheets and towels would be nice. It is located across the street from Highway 1 but white noise made sleeping no problem. It was fine for a short stay.
The rental was clean and looked as it did in the photos and was centrally located. It's next to a busy road as others mentioned, but there's a white noise machine in the bedroom so that was helpful. Parking is right out front. Our biggest gripe is that the property is pitch black at night with zero exterior lighting and we met face to face with a racoon one night. It was a smidge unnerving. The property manager never did send anyone to replace and of the three light fixtures we requested on two separate occasions.
