Clean and comfortable. Nice lake view however a little tough for elderly and handicapped people to get up and down the steps to the dock. Great location to access the park.
The house and surroundings were beautiful and comfortable. However, the floors did not appear to have been vacuumed, swept or mopped. The coffee pot was dirty and had to be cleaned before use. There was mold on the master bathroom shower. The location and house are perfect but the housekeeping leaves much to be desired. Also the downstairs refrigerator freezer was iced up. It didn’t affect our stay as we weren’t using it but it was obviously an ongoing problem that should have been noticed. It was leaking water onto the floor. Maintenance came by while we were out and unplugged the fridge and left wet towels to soak up the water but didn’t leave extra to clean it up and never came back before we checked out.

This place has everything you need for a great lake vacay! We had a lovely time on the dock, the lake and riding the trails at the visitor center. This is a great house. Grab it while you can!
Our family had an amazing time in this beautiful home! The location was perfect, close to family in Wilkesboro but in a gorgeous lake home. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing, kayaking and playing on the large water mat provided. It was a bit of a trek down to the water and rails would have been appreciated for the older family in our group. We loved the screened in porch and the fire pit. There was plenty of room for us to be together and to also have some time apart. We would have enjoyed TVs in at least some of the bedrooms. The host was responsive to messages. Overall, a wonderful experience!
