This charming 1907 home is located just blocks from the main pedestrian street in Historic Downtown Cumberland and a 10 minute walk from Canal Place, the C&O Canal Great Allegheny bike trails, and the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. The remodeled interior is equipped with all the modern conveniences, including a large kitchen and bathroom with jacuzzi tub and seven-head shower. The house maintains its historic charm with exposed brick and has a balcony, back patio, and yard space.
A great weekend getaway from the city. Good for couples, groups of friends, or families looking to enjoy the historic town, biking, and the outdoors.
In addition to strolling through Downtown Cumberland with its shops and dining, farmer's markets, outdoor concerts, explore the surrounding area. Rocky Gap State Park and Rocky Gap Casino are just a 10 minute drive away. If you are up for a day trip, within about an hour drive or less you can visit Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, Ohiopyle PA (rafting, hiking, and biking), Wisp Mountain and Ski Resort, Deep Creek Lake, New Germany State Park (great for cross country skiing), or the Flight 93 Memorial.
