About the host

Host profile image
I am from England but currently living in the States for a few years and making the most of being able to travel another country and making memories with my family (including my furbabies). I grew up in Essex but my home and heart now belongs in Yorkshire! I really hope everyone who stays at our home gets a much enjoyment from it as I do and makes beautiful memories with family and friends,

Why they chose this property

We chose Glen Esk and West Morton cause we wanted to wake up listening to the birds sing and look out of the windows and see countryside! We wanted to be able to walk to a pub that makes good food! We wanted space for the dogs to run free and walks from the house.
We wanted a house we could make fun family memories in.
Glen Esk has all these things and so much more!

What makes this property unique

Glen Esk House is full of history, you can enjoy sitting inside the fireplace on the original seats, on a cold winters day, telling stories of what would have happened hundreds of years ago. On a warm summer's night you can sit round the fire pit eating s'mores and chatting about the days events over a drink or two, the pups have 2 large enclosed areas for running freely. and one of my favourite things to do is sit and watch the beautiful sunrise first thing in the morning with a coffee and listen to the birds wake up! if your more of an evening person you can take a sundowner and watch the sunset over the hills from the sunroom.
