The setting is wonderful with breath taking views across the valley and beyond. It is a remote location so a car is essential but it does make a good base for exploring the Dales with Skipton, Ilkley and Grassington all in easy reach. The cottage itself is cosy and has pretty much all you need for a short self catering stay. Whilst we didn't meet the host we knew she was just across the way in the farm house if we needed anything. The welcome hamper was a nice touch and you could tell there was a lot of care taken of the property.
Thoroughly enjoyed our break away lovely place to stay, great location just wish we had stayed longer Welcome hamper was lovely especially the cookies Place was clean and well presented Lovely to see the sheep and horses outside kitchen window
I had a fantastic stay at the converted barn in Silsden! The location is stunning, offering incredible panoramic views over the Wharfe and Aire valleys. The property itself is beautifully kept, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to those countryside vistas was an absolute highlight. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in the area—we would definitely love to return!
Beautiful views and a very quiet location.
The property was beautiful.
Wish we could have spend more time relaxing it.
Lovely welcome basket was a very kind touch x
Fantastic location with beautiful views. Accommodation is perfect for a short stay - bath with shower, washing machine and well equipped kitchen. We did not meet host as there was easy to access key safe. Great for our little dog and thoughtful things left for dog including bowl, toy, blanket and treats. Access to bed on one side is rather tricky but not a problem for us. Hamper was appreciated but butter would have been a bonus! And we missed the lovely eggs we had last visit!! We will certainly return. (Light in bathroom was flashing all the time and loo brush needs a clean.)
Beautiful barn conversion with great facilities and beautiful location. Had everything you could want for a lovely couple of days break. Would definitely recommend and would definitely consider another stay. Really clean with a modern interior, had everything you’d want also with a lovely welcome hamper supplied for arrival which was a great touch!!
Lovely hosts who made me very welcome and let my dogs out whilst I was attending a wedding nearby. There was a welcome hamper and lots of useful information. Horses and sheep outside the window and far ranging views. Lovely walks straight out of the door and nearby.

Pity there wasn't room for a wardrobe & although the bedroom was lovely tight around the bed
Lovely cottage with beautiful views. Well equipped. Very comfortable and quiet. Easy access to road network. Downstairs bathroom and toilet. Headroom, in the bedroom limited, which wasn't a problem for us! Could have been cleaner. Note also that the dryer is an airer not a tumble. Outside seating area uninviting.
Lovely cottage with plenty of dog walks straight from the door. Great location to visit places such as Silsden, Addingham and Otley or further a field. The cottage had everything we needed ,although an iron may have been useful, and was very comfortable for our two night stay. The bed was very comfortable and the bath and shower was lovely. We enjoyed a takeaway from the host recommended Chinese ( the George) at Silsden and found local amenities to be very useful. Lovely welcome hamper left by the hosts so we could enjoy a cuppa and a biscuit when we arrived. Added bonus was a washing machine so we didn’t need to travel home with smelly kit in the car after my husband’s run.
Wonderful cottage with the most amazing views and everything we could possibly need provided and more with a thoughtful welcome basket. Definitely recommend as perfectly placed to explore the Dales

This place is a lovely barn conversion. The views are amazing and the area is so peaceful. The hosts Sophie and Al are so welcoming and friendly and they provided us with a lovely welcoming hamper. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a few days away.
We spent a month here as part of a two month trip around England. We loved the views and the countryside and the owners and their families made us feel very welcome. We would definitely come back.
Really enjoyed the cottage; cosy, clean and relaxing. The views from the windows are so lovely. The mezzanine bedroom worked really well with my dogs being in their crate downstairs as they could hear us therefore were able to settle. The kitchen worked well - we had all our meals there as we just wanted to have some time away. The local village had some nice coffee shops for a wander and the local co op was a nice one.
