Great Location. Comfortable Space

The house is an easy 10 minute walk to a beach access point and a very comfortable layout for our family with multiple generations. The house was perfect for our family.

Great spot!

We enjoyed our stay very much! Lots of notes/instructions throughout the house that take the guesswork out of everything, phenomenal location, and lots of space for everyone to spread out. We hope to be back soon!

My siblings and I really enjoyed our stay. It was nice for us to have the space to get together as a family after a couple of years. The location was very nice allowing us to take walks and get to the beach easily. Easy drive to Harbor Town.Overall we found the house more than met our expectations and needs.

Perfect getaway

Adorable house in a quiet section of sea pines. Easy walk to the beach. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of room to spread out, nice size bedrooms, and we loved that it had two master suites. We were especially grateful for the wood burning fireplace! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for Christmas, and Bill was great to work with. Can’t wait to come back!

Masters Family Golf Trip

The Sea Pines house was perfect in every way. My brother and his sons, my nephew and my son played golf on Hilton Head Island before attending The Masters. The house with four bedrooms and three full baths worked perfect for our family trip. High regards to the owner for his excellent communications. Definitely recommend the Sea Pines house.

Lovely, comfortable, interesting visit to HHI

The house was perfect for us and our two grandchildren. Plenty of room and a convenient location. There was no need for us to have the televisions in each bedroom (our grandchildren are not allowed to watch television other than in a family room with the family). This was not a problem, just saying that the multiple tv's were unnecessary. Everything was just great.

Beautiful home for vacation

My Family and I spent a week at this house and absolutely loved it. There was plenty of space for all of us with 4 bedrooms, and we enjoyed spending time together in the evenings having dinner and watching movies. It is just a short walk from a private beach that you have access to, so we would spend days there, and the kids could come back for lunch without any problems. Other days, we would go down to the pool, which is right next to The Salty Dog and spend the afternoons. The house’s outdoor patio is also wonderful and we would often have breakfast there before starting the day. This house was a great find and we are looking forward to coming back next year!

My family enjoyed our stay. The only problems we did encounter that who ever cleans the house doesnt do a good job. Left vacuum cleaner in room, shoes and socks under bed, water left in the coffee pot. Its a shame that these owners pay cleaners to come in to clean and they half do the job. But overall the house is beautiful inside and outside, its in a great neighborhood. I loved all the tress that surrounded the house. The space that we had was awesome. I really like how the rooms are set up. Thanks for allowing my family to rent your home.

Amazing location, wheelchair friendly, comfortable & spacious

We have been to HHI many times but never stayed in Sea Pines. Loved riding our bikes to the shops & restaurants, the beach, & the stables. The house was great for our son that uses a power wheelchair. We brought a small portable ramp for the front door and he used the queen bedroom & bath off the family room. The house is well-built from the 70s and definitely showing some age but well-maintained. The kitchen cabinets could use an update as well as the dishwasher but those were not important to us. The function for our family & location were most important and we were thankful to find such a great house within a reasonable budget. The lot is beautiful & the back patio & front porch were so nice. Would definitely come back!

Unfortunately very dusty house. Suffering from terrible allergies now

The host was great but the house was not clean which was very upsetting. The ceiling fans were filled with dust, the carpets smelled so bad and were not clean. Multiple guests left the house with very bad allergies. The mugs on the top cabinet had sugar all on the rims when I went to use them. There was no soap in the bathroom or kitchen.

Location was good-not a bad walk/ride to the beach. It was central to all the hot spots we wanted to visit in sea pines. Communication was not great- we had a few questions prior to visit that we didn't get answers to. The biggest disappointment was the listing had "pool" under amenities but there was no pool. We assumed it was a community pool but after contacting the manager he didn't know the answer and didn't hear back from owners during our entire stay. House was great for our large family-sleeping 8 adults. House could benefit from a few updates- beds were very uncomfortable and hard, but had several extra blankets and pillows in each room which was nice. The couch was very worn and had stain marks.The kitchen was well stocked for a rental-only complaint is the kitchen island was very wobbly and unsturdy, we had to move it against the wall because with 8 adults moving around at dinner time we were afraid it was going to lose a leg. The hallway bathroom electrical socket was sticking out of the wall about an inch. For paying a cleaning fee the house could use a deeper clean-corners and carpet appeared unclean.The biggest inconvenience was no access to the garage and no path to the back of the house other than walking around the far side that was covered in pine needles. Not ideal when bringing all our beach stuff back to the house in flip flops or for parking 8 bikes. Overall it was a okay/good house we had a great stay and made due.

Good Location in Seapines

I will start my review with the good things about this house. Booking was easy and convenient through Evolve and communication with the owner was good as well. It is well located. It is walking distance to the beach. Close to bike paths that take you to the fun places in Seapines. The patio in the back of the house was beautiful and well furnished. The house itself was nice but in desperate need of updates and upgrades. Our family of 6 adults spent Thanksgiving week here and enjoyed staying in Seapines (not our fist time in Seapines) However this house needs attention! As far as cleanliness, the kitchen cabinets felt sticky but the kitchen itself was clean and well stocked. Many of the air vents through out the house should be cleaned as they were covered in cobwebs. Bedding is in desperate need of replacement, what is in use is worn out and out of date. The couches have worned out cushions and are no longer comfortable to sit, relax or lounge. Also as in most rentals, handsoap in bathrooms should be provided... nothing special just the small bars would have been nice. In general this is an ok house in an awesome location.

Beautiful resirt

Although Hurricane Nicole confined us for a day, the sun came out Saturday and showed Hilton Head in it’s full glory. This house had all the amenities we needed and we especially appreciated having Alexa handy for music and weather updates. Also appreciated having a nice big stockpot for our low country boil. Great place to stay if you’re at the beach. The resort has all you need and grocery stores are not far away. Would recommend for families who may have a mobility handicapped member. Thanks for your hospitality.

Great house on Hilton Head Island

This house was perfect for our needs. The loacation was great and all the activities allowed in Sea Pines was phenomenal. The only negative was the supplies that we expected to be provided for our stay. There was not enough toilet paper for just 4 of us for the week. Only 1 dishwasher pod was provided and there were no tissues provided at all. Only 2 of the 3 bathrooms had hand soap and it was liquid so there were no bar soaps for bathing and the hall bathroom had no soap at all.

Great Sea Pines Rental!

We enjoyed our stay at this Sea Pines rental. The house was clean and easily accommodated all 6 of us. The property manager was very communicative and responsive. We enjoyed the beach and amenities. Highly recommend!

I would absolutely not recommend renting anything through an Evolve listing. We received a text from the rental manager about how to enter the property. When we got there and couldn't open the door we texted and called back that number and no one responded, ever. Luckily we figured it out as we were traveling with a 72 YO and 2 children under 6 who really had to get inside! We rented the house vs a hotel mainly for use of the kitchen, so we could grill at home and not go out for dinner every night with small kids. The dishwasher, an amenity listed, was covered in dirt and mold and completely unusable. The grill was also dirty beyond wanting food to touch it at all. We called and texted both management numbers listed on the fridge a total of 10 times. We received one call back at 1030pm one night when were not by our phones, and never again received any communication or response whatsoever. Due to the dirtiness of the appliances, we couldn't eat at home at all and ate out every night with small kids, which made the stay increasingly more difficult. We also had to hand wash dishes for breakfast/snacks which also made the stay very inconvenient since there were 6 people in the house. The unresponsiveness at any issue plus the fraudulent listing was enough to make us call VRBO several times- they let us know "only the host can provide a refund," and of course, the host and management company (Evolve) have not responded at all. I would absolutely not recommend this listing because if there is a serious or non-serious problem you will not get a response. I feel like we did not get the value that was promised in the listing, which was a very high fee for a dirty old house with unusable appliances. Would really love it if someone from Evolve would read this and please contact me back about a refund!
