Nice quite place to get together and enjoy time. Rented with a couple other older marines and wives, was perfect for us. Best stocked house than any other VRBO we've ever rented!! Host is great to communicate with as well. Would definitely rent again!

The renters were excellent guests during their stay. We were happy to have them at our property and share in a unique experience at our secluded lake side retreat. They are welcome to come back anytime!
We had an amazing stay! The host was extremely responsive and made everything seamless from check-in to check-out. The home is beautifully tucked away near the water, offering a peaceful and private setting with plenty of space to relax. It was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and games for downtime. Coming from the city, this was the perfect escape to unplug and unwind. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
This property is a true retreat if you’re looking for peace, space, and comfort. The solitude is unbeatable — you can walk the grounds without seeing another soul, making the stay calm and private. The spacious screened-in porch, overlooking Rough River, is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view, and the fireplace adds to the cozy, retreat-like atmosphere.Inside, the layout works perfectly for families or groups. With five bedrooms, there’s plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen and dining area are filled with natural light from the many windows, and there are more than enough dishes, cups, and wine glasses. I loved having games and a small bluetooth speaker for background noise while reading. The cozy room features a large TV and a comfortable setup to unwind. There’s even extra space for cornhole or volleyball near the back patio, and the entryway has a convenient spot for shoes so you don’t track dirt through the house. The living room windows look right out onto Rough River, which is stunning.I can’t wait to return in the summer to enjoy the outdoors, and again in the fall — the foliage must be incredible. This property is quiet, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped for a truly relaxing stay.
The house was big and was set up very nicely for entertaining. There was space for everyone to gather, and space for everyone to have some privacy as well.
