About this property

Close to Vineyards & Beaches, Central AC, Sauna, Steam Shower & 2 Person Jacuzzi

Potters Corner is located in rural Little Compton, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. NO parties! This is a spacious home (3000+sf) with plenty of room for your extended family or friends to relax and unwind. The gourmet kitchen makes for easy meal prep. Being open to the dining and living rooms; the family can stay together. There is a large private yard and plenty of off street parking. Unfortunately we do not allow any pets at the home.

The first floor has two living rooms, each with two comfy couches and TV. The main living room has a Smart TV and the second living room has a gas fireplace. There is a full bathroom downstairs with a Jacuzzi tub and shower. There is a bedroom with a twin bed, also a twin trundle. There is surround sound for all of downstairs and the main bedroom, including the bathroom!

The second floor has three bedrooms. The Main Bedroom has a king bed, 15 foot ceilings, another gas fireplace, a cedar sauna, a walk in steam shower with a rain shower head and a two person corner Jacuzzi tub. The main bedroom also has a seperate changing room and a wet bar that includes a mini fridge and a microwave. The second bedroom has a king bed and the third has two full beds. They share a bathroom that also has a Jacuzzi tub. All bedrooms have a TV, the main bedroom is another smart TV. The entire house has central air conditioning, and heat, Wifi and cable.

We are excited to have partnered with the South Coast Artist Community to showcase their artwork. You can learn more about most of the pieces in a book in the kitchen.

My husband and I had an incredible long weekend with our baby girl. The house and property were beautiful and well kept. The master suite is absolutely luxurious! We used the spacious and well-equipped kitchen a bunch and the complimentary keurig coffee was a much appreciated bonus. Explored the area, took a day trip to Newport and had a wonderful dinner at Crowthers restaurant which is walking distance from the property. Kristin was also very generous and easy to work with. Would highly reccommend!

Nice house but not a great neighborhood and they listed it as 9 miles from Newport but that is if you were a bird to fly across the water. The driving distance 35 miles. Very misleading.

Wonderful Family Treat!

My family of five adults and one toddler stayed at Potters Corner for a long weekend. The house was beautiful, clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Since we had my grandson with us, we cooked dinners each night. We took advantage of the wonderful seafood and farm fresh produce available in the area. Cooking dinner was a delight using the well equipped kitchen and barbecue. Our family enjoyed the nearby beach, trips to farmstands, and wine tasting at Sakonnet Vineyards. The sauna and steam shower in the master bedroom were a spa retreat that we greatly enjoyed. It was truly a wonderful vacation. We look forward to coming back again Thank you to Kristen for your help and sharing your lovely home with us.

Warm, cozy and delightful family Christmas

Our family had a delightful family Christmas in Little Compton. This home is amazingly crafted and beautiful with many great upgrades to feel like you are staying in luxury. To list a few...a gourmet kitchen with large island and nice cookware, a great wireless sound system throughout the house, a master suite that is spacious yet cozy with the added amenities of a wetbar, sauna, and steam shower and Jacuzzi tub. The owners Kristin and Adam were very friendly, accessible and helpful. We even had a live Christmas tree waiting for us wirh trimmings to decorate upon our arrival. Kristin was great about answering questions as we had a family member coming in a wheelchair and needed to make sure the house would accommodate his needs which it did wonderfully. It was a great pleasure! We would rent again in a heart beat.

Daughter's wedding week

We were 3 couples staying in Little Compton for my daughter's wedding. The house was perfect. Clean, comfortable, well-appointed. The master suite is stunning, and the other two bedrooms on the second floor are good. Beds are comfortable, bedding and towels are very nice. A/C meant we all slept well. Master suite dressing room is great for getting ready for an event - natural light, mirrors, iron & board, steamer all came in handy. Two sitting rooms with comfy sofas. Good grill and patio table. Kitchen had all we needed and a nice counter with stools for coffee and chatting. Kristin was friendly, helpful and communicative, and highly professional. Some of our party had time to explore the lovely coast and local beaches, and enjoyed local ice cream. We all loved seeing the wildlife in the garden - deer, wild turkeys, chipmunks, fishers and even a turtle laying eggs in the garden! Would return to this house without hesitation.

Excellent Choice

Our experience was top notch! There was plenty of room for our family of 8. The home was well kept and comfortable as well as being nicely furnished. The master bedroom was palatial! The location was perfect in a very quiet neighborhood. Rural, but close to everything we wanted to see and do. Home Away From Home!

We stayed here with our family and friends for a little vacation near the beach. The house is large and family-friendly with more than enough room to accommodate everyone, and was super clean! Nice flat yard for the kids to run around outside, very close to South Shore beach, playgrounds, and several restaurants. The property owner was very responsive too. We would definitely stay at Potter’s Corner again!

Exactly what we were looking for

We rented Kristin’s beautiful home for a much needed getaway as we were looking at a boat in nearby Portsmouth. It was the right amount of “off the grid” and “close to everything” that we were looking for. We really enjoyed our few days in Little Compton. The sauna was lovely, we had lots of space to spread out and chill, and the house was clean and comfortable. We wish the kitchen was a little more outfitted but I'd say that's typical of rentals. Quiet, peaceful, close to lots of trails and the ocean -- just what we needed!

Adam & Kristin, with our four kids, are pleased to be offering a variety of homes for vacation rental in the Tiverton and Little Compton area. We moved to Little Compton in 2002 because we wanted to raise our family in this quiet rural town. It was one of the best decisions of our lives!
In 2009 we bought the farm and about a year later bought the Schoolhouse. It was after the purchase and a complete remodel we learned about vacation rental homes and we thought we'd give it a shot. We immediately fell in love with the idea and not a year later, bought another fixer upper in our town of Little Compton. We were blessed with many wonderful guests and because of that, we were able to purchase the Samuel Church Estate in 2016, and the John Dyer Loft in 2019. We have now started to manage properties and have two beautiful large homes in Little Compton also available.
