About this property

Okemo Ski Getaway in Mount Holly/Ludlow VT Under 5 miles to the slopes.

Our 3 bedroom vacation home is located under 10 minutes drive to Jackson Gore just 4.7 miles and Okemo just 6.7 miles.. Close to town of Ludlow. Great for all seasons, nearby hiking, fishing, boating, skiing and access to VAST snowmobiling trail on property.

3 Bedroom, 2 bath with unfinished basement that has washer and dryer for extended stays. We are under 10 minutes to Jackson Gore and Okemo. But if you like variety Killington, Stratton, Bromley and Magic are all 30 to 45 minutes away.

Fully equipped kitchen has stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and so much more. Just bring your food.

Streaming TV and Wifi on site.

Sleeps 8 but over 5 people will incur extra per person fee per night

There is also a twin air mattress.

Wood burning stove with wood provided will keep you toasty on those cold nights. Laundry in basement.

Bring your snowmobile, connection to the Vast trial runs close to the house, plenty of parking for your trailer. Hiking trails on the property loop around back to the house. During the summer a fire pit is available. 2 Kayaks and lifejackets available for your use on beautiful Lake Ninevah which is a few miles and under 10 minutes away

Family ski trip

Fabulous time! Kids loved the games downstairs and the fire pit outside for roasting marshmallows. 10 minute drive to the Jackson Gore/Okemo parking lot - easy and quick to get to the slopes. Great communication with owner. Would certainly stay here again.

Perfect ski weekend getaway stay

This property was a delight! Very comfortable, clean and well appointed. It is only a 10 minute drive to Okemo. We enjoyed the coziness of the living room and wood stove, and after a day of skiing, we made a nice family dinner and found all of the equipment needed. The host was very gracious and went out of his way to accommodate us when coming in the night of the big snowstorm. We will absolutely stay here again when we come up north next ski season!

Great Okemo ski vacation home

Our family of four had a great week in Dave's vacation home. It was a quick easy drive to the Okemo slopes. Dave was quick to respond to all communications and his plow guy promptly cleared the driveway 3 times for us after storms during our stay. A huge help! The home was comfortable and the kitchen fully outfitted with plenty of dishes and pans for cooking. Thanks for sharing your home with us, Dave!

Mt. Holly/Okemo Ski Trip

David's house is a warm, inviting place to relax. It is exceptionally clean, which we really apprecaite! It is less than 10 minutes from the clock tower at Okemo. While the weather didn't fully cooperate for our planned ski days (55 degrees one day!), we had a relaxing time. It is also less than a half hour from Rutland, where we went one day for shopping and lunch. I had work to do while on vacation, and the wifi was great! Our teen and pre-teen appreciated this also, as they did the TVs in every bedroom! Thanks for a great stay!

This home was conveniently located to Okemo. It was super clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, including an array of spices! ( I like that when renting a home and cooking meals in) . I would recommend this home for skiers, snowmobiles and hikers. Good location.

Weekend Getaway

The location to Okemo was perfect. The general layout was very accommodating for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in during our time. Everything was comfortable and the house was clean when we arrived. The communication was easy and getting in and out worked well. Be careful of the front steps as my husband slipped on them and we had to put out salt/sand mixture.

Sorry that your husband slipped on the steps. The house being close to a major ski resort is located in an area that routinely gets lots of snow. We provide plenty of salt and both a snow shovel and hard spade so guests can hopefully keep steps clear as possible during their stays.

Great Ski Week

The location of this property was so close to the mountain! We were at the Okemo entrance in about 9 minutes every day. House had everything we needed and then some. King bed on the primary bedroom was so comfortable. We only have two kids but there was space for more people for sure!

Mt. Holly Summer Getaway

Was looking for a quiet summer getaway for a few days and Dave and JoAnn's lovely home was absolutely perfect! Clean, cozy, well appointed and, extremely comfortable with everything we needed to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable! Close to Okemo (summer scenic chair lift for overview of the area), Buttermilk Falls and good restaurants: a short drive to The Calvin Coolidge birthplace (excellent for history buffs!) and a half hour from Green Mountain National Forest. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Dave and JoAnn fell in love with Vermont on our many trips to the state to ski and sightsee. It was always a dream to purchase a vacation home in the mountains to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of New Jersey. In 2017 we decided to go for it and made it happen. Picture is in front of Buttermilk falls less than 5 miles from the house.

Why they chose this property

A place to relax that was slightly off the beaten path yet close to skiing and snowmobiling. Lakes near by for kayaking during the summer, waterfalls and beautiful hikes just a short drive away.

What makes this property unique

Just the right size for a family of 5. had everything we were looking for in a vacation home. We remodeled the living room after we bought it installing a hardwood floor and wood burning stove and just completely redid the kitchen in 2018..
