Scott was great and an excellent host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are four childhood best friends who get together annually for a girls weekend at a new place each time. Lake Lure did not disappoint and we are so glad it is back after Helene.

We usually stay at rumbling bald every Christmas but this year we decided to venture out and so glad we did. The cabin property was so cute, very clean and accommodating. It also had a Great Lake view. Will definitely be booking it again next year

The house was perfect for what we were there for! The big deck was the best part. We were able to bring our dogs, with an additional fee. The host was a very clear and gracious communicator!

The house was amazing, very clean, and the fenced in front yard worked quite well, even with the circular staircase down to the front yard level. The wide long front porch proved to be a great gathering place. The beds were quite comfortable. The host profile the house well and communicate communicated on the one item we had to tell him about was broken. I recommend for anyone with dogs that wants to experience the lake. We rented up Pontoon Boat from Lake Lure Adventure Company and they were the nicest sweetest best company to rent from and their boats worked perfectly. Great vacation for my 65th birthday!

Very nice property. We had Thanksgiving here with our son and his girlfriend. The property is nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the fireplace and the view was beautiful. Too cold to venture out on the deck. We were about 30 mins from a grocery which was open on Thanksgiving which was awesome. We were about an hour from Asheville so we explored downtown one day. If you want a nice place in the mountains but within reasonable distance to explore this is beautiful. We had everything we needed and no issues with the property.

The reason I gave the accuracy of the on listing only one star is because the pictures and description were totally inadequate! This place was an absolute jewe!I have stayed at many vrbo’s and time shares in my 93 years. Only one have I enjoyed similar accommodations….and that was the Summer home of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor!The owner. Scott, was also a delight! Who ever talks to owners unless there’s a problem? There is absolutely no way I can more highly recommend this venue. It simply marvelous!

The pictures reflex this beautiful mountain property. Very comfortable and well equipped with what we were looking for in a getaway to the mountains. It was the cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. The bathrooms were beautifully updated with very modern showers and shower heads.

My family and I enjoyed that the house provided enough room for us all to spread out. Scott was a wonderful host and very responsive before and during our stay. He provided great recommendations of things to do and places to eat. We especially loved the porch and fenced in area because we could allow our dog to explore outside while we relaxed. Thanks for helping make our vacation great, Scott!
