Tranquil Treehouse Cottage 10 mins from Downtown Canton

In response to the 4 out of 10 I do want potential guests to know that any problems The couple had I quickly addressed it. She first called asking about the cabin and began to tell me First Monday was on Monday even though I tried explaining it wasn't. It is very misleading in the name due to the original market in the 1800's being held only on the First Monday of every month. Then contact was made a couple times via text, but nothing major just general recommendations. They then checked into the cabin and a couple hours later they messaged again with some concerns. After realizing it wouldn't be fixed via messages I headed to the cabin around 830pm. They approached it with frustration and I asked to speak calmly to one another so I could figure out what was going on. Upon learning of their issues I notated them and asked if we could address the ones I could fix the next day while they were in town. They said "Yes". We continued visiting and sharing personal stories for another 2 hours that evening with me leaving the cabin around 10-1030pm. After they checked out I began working on the other things discussed the evening of check in... *We have a yard cat for the mice and lizards. Some people don't want her on the porch, so I ordered solar noise makers to keep the small animals away. *The couch and seating were mentioned, so I ordered a different couch. (Will update the pictures upon arrival) *The house still had a weird smell, from a previous guest. Even though the floors are wood we bleached them and then re-treated them. Re-washed all the linens. Replaced the front entry mat. Etc. (We also bleached the floors the day after check in to see if it helped) *They didn't like the plug ins I put in, so we pulled them that evening. Different smells bother some people and that is understandable. *We added some more solar lights to the walk path to help illuminate it. *We also left birthday gifts for her birthday prior to check in, even though it wasn't requested for the inconvenience of booking the wrong days to attend market. As a small business I tried to correct as much as possible, since their stay and we are improving daily. As we grow we are able to address the bigger concerns people have mentioned, "slowly but surely". We appreciate each guest and the kind constructive criticism to help us improve. We have had people stay with us from all over the country and Germany!
