SolShip, An Original Earthship in Tres Piedras
Escape to this original Earthship at the Greater World Earthship Community, just past the Taos Gorge. This welcoming eco-retreat features a large bedroom with a king bed and loft, a bathroom with incredible desert views, and an additional living space with a comfy futon. Guests can unwind in the serene surroundings or explore the beauty of the area. We are on three acres, at the end of a road, and surrounded by sagebrush desert. Designed for true off-grid living, our home uses passive solar heating, water cisterns, grey water recycling, solar electric, and a solar hot water heater. Whether you are here for hiking, skiing, or on a spiritual journey, the SolShip is an inspiring place to enjoy all that Taos has to offer.
