This was a great historic property you can tell they put great pride in restoring this property. It had everything we needed for our weekend stay.for the 5 of us and we really enjoyed your home. I would recommend leaving the front porch light on for guests arriving after dark. I would recommend getting a blender and unlocking the thermostats so we could be comfortable. I would also recommend locking the closets that were overflowing with random items piled up including someone’s drivers license and credit card? Overall we enjoyed the house and spending time with our kids and first grandchild. The house was walking distance and convenient to some great spots

Great location, right off the streetcar line. Everything was as described. The one negative is there is no bathroom door in the master suite. We had to coordinate coming in and out of the bedroom while someone was in the bathroom.

Great location - easy walking distance to Westport and just a block or so away from a streetcar station. Bathrooms and kitchen have been updated and are beautiful. Plenty of beds for everyone (8 adults in our group). Communication was great and we had all the information we needed to check-in and check-out. Host shared details about the property including wifi and laundry. Once we got there it all sort of fell apart. Air conditioning was locked down through an app so we could not cool the home to a reasonable temperature (78 on first floor). This is an older home with some original windows, some windows sealed shut, and others missing screens. Third floor bedrooms were unbearable the first night. I exchanged messages with the host several times, sent pictures of the thermostats, and tried everything they suggested. Host finally adjusted temperature late Saturday, but set it so low (57) that everyone was cold and we still could not adjust it on our own.Home had clearly not been cleaned before we got there. Cobwebs with dead spiders and bugs in the kitchen, bathrooms, and dining room. Dead bugs on some of the windowsills, live spiders in the master bath and 3rd floor bedroom. Missing lightbulbs in the dining room and grease/dust on the kitchen light bulbs. Couch had a broken section and third floor bed frame missing bolts (making it wobbly). Pink mold on shower ledges.Home has great potential to be a true luxury rental. Just needs a few repairs and a good cleaning.
