The home has 4 bedroom 3 bath-King Master suite on the lower level. The loft bedroom is open and has a queen size bed. If you want to get away from it all but still go into town for dinner or to catch a movie this is the perfect get away. The cabin is 20 miles from Downtown Whitefish. We are 7 miles from Tally Lake where you can launch a boat or swim in the lake. You feel like you are a world away from everyone. Relax and watch wildlife on the property, venture out into the nearby National Forest or just relax on the deck! This is the Montana Log Cabin in the Woods you have dreamed about! We are 20 miles from downtown Whitefish.
We are in a beautiful location you will truly enjoy! There is a studio apartment that sleeps four that can be rented with the main house. Please inquire if you want to rent the apartment with the house.

We love Montana! I started doing short term rentals over 10 years ago and I pride myself on having everything you will need for your stay!. We are the most rested and happy when we are out at Log Cabin in the Woods! It's luxury rustic!
Why they chose this property
We spent two solid years looking for a house in the area traveling here many times to look at properties. We wanted to have a very private home so that we did not have neighbors house we could see close by the home we also wanted to be near a National Forest area. We wanted to be able to go into town for dinners or shopping easily. (There are homes near but not clearly visable from the house) Since we are 20 miles to town- we can go in anytime but feel very relaxed at the house with no worries! We have worked on upgrades on the house for the last few years. You will be happy here.
What makes this property unique
The view of the mountains from our deck is amazing. You don’t see any other houses from our deck and most of the property The deck is very large with a hot tub. You will just want to sit out there all day and look at the beauty. It's peaceful and private. When we found the log cabin in the woods we knew this was the home we had been searching for. This Lincoln log looking cabin is what we thought Montana homes would look. Come and relax and forget all your troubles.
