About the host

Hosted by David N Viale

Host profile image
Sara and I co-host. We are married dreamers, music lovers, adventurers, foodies, parents, outdoor enthusiasts and travelers. We love quality time outside and at the Basecamp with our family and friends. We're excited to share the Tenney Mt. Basecamp with you!

Why they chose this property

The Basecamp is exactly that - a cozy refuge where you can store your gear, plan and stage your adventures, rest, relax, and recuperate. It's central to everything - 6 ski resorts, (4 of which are IndyPass Mts), Backcountry skiing, 3 of the largest and cleanest lakes in NH, hiking, world class rock climbing, leaf peeping, biking, cross country skiing, swimming, golf, disc golf, Plymouth State University, breweries, awesome thrift stores, downtown Plymouth, and more.

What makes this property unique

Besides having an awesome location on the slopes of Tenney Mountain (a gem of a mountain) and being so central to so much in the White Mountains and Lakes Region, it's not too far North to be too long of a trek. And its owned and operated by adventurers for adventurers. We give discounts to Indy, Granite, Vermont and Western MA Backcountry Alliances, Uphill New England and more. And we've designed the layout and vibe to suit families, remote workers, and people who enjoy the outdoors, art, music, food, and wellness. From vinyl records to curated reading and cooking material we do our best to provide a fun and unique experience. We also try to be as environmentally friendly as possible, sourcing most of our furnishings from the thrift stores in Plymouth and choosing environmentally friendly products. As people on other platforms said, its got a great feel and isn't just another rental.
