This house was perfect for our family, great access to the beach and very comfortable. Would have benefited from an online check-in and checkout instructions but Sean was always available by phone for any questions.

This property is exactly as advertised! The interior is a little dated but entirely functional, and for the price and location it cannot be beat. Sean set instructions clearly and check in was easy. The beach is right out the backyard, and the sunroom off of the master bedroom gives a great beach view. Our family would hang out on the couches there every morning. We traveled with two young kids (1 and 3) and had no safety issues with them in the house.

We had stayed at a smaller property in that area a few years ago for my Mom’s 95 Birthday. This time we wanted to invite more family members so this property was a better fit. We were a party of 9 adults. Nicely decorated, lots of towels and blankets. Plenty of room downstairs for visiting and hanging out, including a large table on the patio that sat 10-12 people. Access to the beach is just off the patio area. It has nice sized kitchen that was well appointed and a seperate area outdoors for the large BBQ. All of the bedrooms are upstairs, the primary is huge and is a combination bedroom and additional living room, with a fireplace and access to the enclosed porch with great views of the ocean with several couches which can accommodate many people. Large 2 car garage with 2 parking spots in the driveway. Owners were very nice and available. We all had a great time. Felt like a mini resort style vacation.

Perfect Getaway

Perfect getaway house. We booked during Memorial Day weekend when Pismo is packed during this time and we were in our own little slice of the beach unbothered. The host was great with communication. Will book again for our next stay!

First issue was the internet connection was never available. The house looked well used. The kitchen faucet was loose and wiggling, one of the burners on the stove did not work, for a home the sleeps up to 10 people there was a master bath in the master bedroom, and one bathroom with a shower upstairs for 6 people. Downstairs there as a half bath with toilet and sink only. The front door was not really operational. Not the house fault but even cell service was weak. On the positive size, the house was spacious, lots of sitting areas. The balcony was comfortable with views of the ocean. There was a roomy two car garage. It was right on the beach and had direct access to the sand. The neighborhood was quiet.The house was just okay.

This place was perfect! The place is well stocked with the basic needs (cookware, beach toys, bath towels, etc). The house is much nicer in person but worn down enough that I felt the kids could relax and have fun. We hope to make this location an annual spot for our family reunion.

Great family get away

If it was my daily house, I would say it's an older house showing a fair amount of wear and is dated, but as a beach house rental it is superb! The house is very clean which is no simple task because it is right on the sand. Staying there is like wearing an old pair of jeans that fit you just right.

We had a nice stay overall. The home is older and the decor is a bit outdated, but it was clean, spacious, and in a great location. Beach access is right outside patio, there’s a convenient corner store nearby, and it’s only about a 10-minute drive to the pier.The owner communicated that towels would be limited, which we appreciated knowing ahead of time, although it was shared fairly last minute. Just be aware that shampoo and conditioner are not provided, so plan to bring your own toiletries.One thing to note is that the check-in instructions were provided over the phone before our trip rather than by email or message, so don’t expect written instructions beforehand. Also, checkout is very prompt—the cleaning crew arrived about 10–15 minutes before our checkout time, which we’ve never experienced before. If you’re staying here, be sure to be packed and ready to leave by checkout time.Overall, despite a few minor things, the spacious home and excellent location made for an enjoyable stay.

What a beautiful View!!

We had a wonderful stay on the beach. Owner was very sweet. Perfect home for a family. Beds were comfy, kitchen & toiletries were fully stocked. Had a nice new grill that we didn’t use but was nice to have one. Outside shower was great and had warm water!! Definitely will book again! Thank you for letting us stay at your olovely home!!

GREAT LOCATION and very Responsive Manager

Great location and lots of room to spread out. the crows nest room is great, sitting and enjoying the Pacific Ocean. Owner/Manager is very responsive - no issues. Home can use a little updating/maintenance, but the home serves it purpose as a great place to stay right smack on the beach! i would stay again. thank you

Summer break

Perfect Families with the young kids. We're able to walk out to the beach whenever we wanted. Outside showers made it easier with the on site laundry. Kitchen was fully load with all Kitchenware. Older humble home.

Dated but homey

The pics on Vrbo aren’t updated; There’s more amenities than we realized! Comfy couches and modern TV’s were a pleasant surprise. It’s still an old beach house with quirks, like doors jamming and no locks in the bathrooms. But if you can overlook these shortcomings, a great time can be had by all.
