Linda was great, and the property is even better than described. Such a comfortable place to base out of for a week of hiking and sightseeing. Easy walk to the beach and miles and miles of trails right out the back door. Absolutely a perfect stay.
We were delighted with our stay at this peaceful cabin. It was the perfect home base for exploring Lake Tahoe and Linda was thoughtful and accommodating. We hated to leave.
We enjoyed that this place was so close to the forest and out of the business of town, but still close enough to walk into King’s Beach! The place had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. We would return again!
Linda's cabin was perfect for us. It had every comfort we needed. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, heaters kept us warm during cold weather. Communication with Linda was easy--she was responsive to any question we had. We highly recommend this property!
Amazing host, amazing location. Cabin was tucked away from the noise and summer crowd, backyard opened up to trails. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Can't wait to come back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this Cozy Cabin. The back porch was our favorite place to sit and enjoy nature’s beauty. It’s a very quiet place to rest and relax, yet it’s close to the beaches and other spots around Lake Tahoe.

About the host
Hosted by Linda
I have been in the education profession for 28 years. I love the outdoors and nature in general, birdwatching, sports such as skiing ( water, downhill, crosscountry),hiking, camping, scuba diving, sailing. My husband and I ran an art gallery for 20 years and I love art in many forms. I keep my property as close to a nature santuary as I possibly can so I can have a serene enviroment to unwind from the busy work life in Reno.
Why they chose this property
I grew up in Reno,NV and spent many wonderful winters and summers at Tahoe. I wanted to retire to Tahoe to be closer to the nature and outdoor activities I love. When I saw this location I knew it was for me. It is a classic Tahoe cabin located in a serene setting next to the forest. It helps me regenerate after a busy work week and I hope it will help you unwind too.
What makes this property unique
I love the natural setting and spend a lot of time gardening. I do a daily hike in the forest both summer and winter --- plus of course skiing in the winter and swimming in the summer. Afternoons in the summer I love sitting on the deck with a book watching the wildlife in the forest. In the winter I love watching the snow fall with a roaring fire keeping things cozy.
