Lakefront Cottage on Lake Marion

This is a beautiful lake front cottage located on a quiet cove off of the Big Water at Wyboo. Fully furnished, it is a perfect spot for retired couples, families with children, or anyone who wishes to have fun in a lovely lake front setting. The cottage has two bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. The dock is perfect for sunbathing, fishing, or just relaxing. Pull your boat right up to your own private dock!

For the adventurous person, leave the dock and take a day trip to historical Charleston. Activities such as golfing, shopping, restaurants, and antique stores are located nearby. A list of our favorite restaurants will be provided at check in.

Our host was wonderful and he even offered to pick up items we might need at Wal-Mart! The cottage has everything you could possibly want or need. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to prepare meals without having to supply anything extra. We made one trip to Wal-Mart for some things we had forgotten to bring. It was a very calm and peaceful place to stay.

Weekend get away!

Mr Johnston was a great host, we had a great time. His place is beautiful, and has perfect access to the lake. We have rented quite a few places, but, this was one of the best. Looking forward to the next trip up.

Wonderful host and place

We got a warm welcome from your host, David. He made us feel right at home. The house was beautiful and had every accommodation we could ask for. The weather was perfect (but hot) and David gave us some fishing tips. The dock was perfect and the area was quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be going back as soon as we can. We loved the cottage. It was perfectly situated with split bedrooms and bath and a large fully equipped kitchen and great room in middle. The large back screened porch was great for having coffee in the morning and relaxing with a book in the evening. The boat dock was perfect for our boat and my sons jet skis with boat ramp visible from dock. Our host David made us feel so welcome and we’re already planning for another stay in two months! We had a great time. Thanks David, we’ll see you soon.

The house was beautiful and accommodated for a large party, great location near everything. Host was very responsive which we liked. Unaware of the horrible dock conditions and water conditions around the dock prior to booking. Definitely would have picked a different house if we knew ahead of time because we had children and adults wanting to swim. The AC unit was set at 74 and it made it impossible to be comfortable within the house during the night because it was hot outside.

Great Lake Retreat

The owner is an excellent host! The house was very clean and well equipped. The quiet cove is great for swimming or floating. The new dock is very nice and equipped with bumpers and cleats for tying off your boat. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property was 10 times better than the photos!!! The house and beautiful porch were lovely. The kitchen was better equipped than my own! This was the perfect location for our trip. The house was so comfortable, so many applicances/utensils available to make the Thanksgiving dinner we had planned. Plenty of space, immaculate, great yard, wonderful dock / space on the water. Can't say enough about this place and the owners. It was just like being at home. If we do this again, we will definitely stay here!

Bring your boat!

What a wonderful week! Pictures don't capture what a wonderful property this is. David and Cindy are the best hosts! We brought our 21ft skiff and there was plenty of room on the dock for both David's boat and ours. Launch is just down the street, visible from the dock. Everything you could possibly need to cook or grill with was included. The entire back of the house is a screened porch. Step off the porch and just steps to the lake. We went to dinner at Fayz at the Lake on our boat! We will be back!

Wonderful lakefront property

This is a wonderful cottage situated directly on the water. This is a newer dwelling that is spacious, well constructed and well maintained. There are 2 suites on either end of the cottage with a large kitchen and living area in the center. There is a large screened-in porch that runs the length of cottage that is a delight! Great for morning coffee or evening drinks. The owners are warm and friendly; they are willing to help out in any way they can. We plan to go back to this one!

A wonderful place for a vacation!

The week that we stayed with David and Cindy was amazing! They are so very helpful and very hospitable. The house is very nice! Large family room with all the comforts of home. Kitchen and the cabinets are well stocked with anything that you might need. House is clean and bedrooms are nice and large, too. We loved our vacation! The view of the lake is great and the dock is spectacular! We will be back!

We live at the lake full time since March 2015. We love to see people enjoy the rental home and strive to make your stay fun and memorable.

Great home fully furnished with everything you need. It has a Great Lake view, a big front porch for relaxing and a 75 foot dock for fishing and boating., and a good swimming area. We are close to several golf courses and just a few miles to good shopping.
