Excellent little get away for 2. Clean, beautiful, sauna is a great special treat. Patio was lovely. Private, quiet setting. Adorable general store just a couple blocks down. Great short distance to Walker.
My wife, myself and golden retriever, truly enjoyed our time here. Everything was as advertised, including a very private location. With wildlife such as deer, turkey, and owl, the occasional loon singing overhead and on the lakes. We were in walking distance of fresh homemade donuts at the Woman Lake Lodge, available at 7 AM every morning.
This was the most perfect, secluded little getaway spot to celebrate our anniversary in peace, away from our 6 kids. The cabin is completely surrounded by woods, even though it’s super close to a big lake, which we enjoyed with our jet ski.The morning was so serene.. beautiful potted flowers, listening to the loons, and great coffee while having some bible time together out on the deck. The sauna and full kitchen were also a treat. The many tall windows had great views, but I was thankful there were pull down shades for added privacy at night. The only issue we had was getting the heat to well.. heat. Which was basically not a big deal since it is July, I just got a little chilly at night. I’m sure if we had asked the host, he would have helped us solve the problem. The place was gorgeous and we’d definitely stay again!-Laura & Jon
