Charming 5-bedroom Vacation House in Chatham

Quiet and relaxing home built on a hill facing the Catskill mountains. Our house was updated with an eat-in kitchen, greenhouse and screened porch. Very quiet location at the end of a dead end. Cottage on property with a loft provides extra sleeping capacity. Plenty of peaceful woods, sun and quiet. Close to Hudson and the Berkshires.

We had a beautiful stay with famiy in a warm and welcoming country home. The main room had the nicest fireplace and tge kitchen was a gathering space to cook and chat with family. The host made sure arrival went well and helped us with car troubles when we were leaving.It was a pleasure

Part of me wants to not leave a review to keep quiet about this gem so my friends and I can book in the future...but I have to express my appreciation. Everything about this place was wonderful — host was great, location was exactly what we hoped for (secluded, nature/woods, close to a charming town), property was lovely; everything worked, there were fireplaces, plenty of cooking supplies to make apple pie and butternut squash soup and pancakes. Super comfortable beds and plenty of fun rooms. I guess if I have to leave a negative, my wife didn't feel the living room couch was comfortable (but she also fell asleep on it so...). You know how that other rental app feels completely bland and impersonal and you're nickel-and-dimed for every little thing? This was the opposite. Lovely experience, we will be back! Highly recommend.
