We stayed here for a long weekend to attend a family wedding nearby after our initial booking backed out on us close to the wedding date. We were pleasantly surprised as the cottage had all that we needed. It is deceptively roomy considering that it looks like a tiny cozy cabin from the outside. The beds were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the front porch with seating for the whole family. It was a bonus that the groom’s small dog was welcome, including an extra bowl and some treats. We did not realize that it was only one shower (I should have read the listing more closely) but we did have the 2 bathrooms to get ready for the wedding. The soaking tub was a plus to unwind from the wedding stress. Everyone was quite comfortable, thank you so much.
Great home base for being in the Berkshires. Host has excellent communication, which extends to the signage in the house and nice touches throughout. Wonderful bedding and linens, comfortable beds, and well appointed kitchen. Large pleasant porch to sit on and eat out on. The house was spotless. The bathrooms were clean and the w/d made things convenient. The downstairs living room looks comfortable but we didn’t use it as it was a bit musty (it was rainy during our stay). As a couple with 2 dogs, we were fine with the loveseat area upstairs. The setting is green and quiet, especially at night, but the main road where vehicles go 55 mph is not far and you can hear trucks during the day. We hope stay again.
