This beautifully decorated mid-century modern home, fully equipped for your family’s beach stay, offers unparalleled comfort and style. The home features two upstairs king en suites with private deck access (one includes a sofa bed for one), two queen bedrooms, and a media room with a couch that converts to a full-size bed. Enjoy ocean views from the upper and lower decks, perfect for family relaxation, and a backyard ideal for kids and pets. The home includes a fully stocked kitchen, high-quality linens, and all necessary toiletries for a seamless stay.

The Space

Designed with hospitality in mind, this mid-century modern home ensures your comfort and enjoyment. The fully equipped kitchen includes all essentials for preparing meals. The bedrooms feature premium mattresses, pillows, and 100% cotton linens for restful sleep, while the bathrooms are stocked with all necessary toiletries and towels. Relax on the upper or lower decks to watch sunsets or crashing waves, or fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the ocean through the master king en suite’s sliding glass door—a truly unique experience.

Treats: Coffee and creamer are provided for all reservations. This house was great for our family meet-up. Our group of eight had plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped, there were plenty of bathrooms, and the large dining table was great for meals together. The location is excellent right across the street from one of the best tide pools we’ve visited along the California coast.

Very cool mid-century-style house just off the beach and near a great walk/overlook to tide pools. Beds were comfortable, showers were great, and the kitchen was very clean and functional. It’s not brand-new, but it doesn’t feel worn or shabby—just charming, spacious, and clean. Plenty of space if you plan to stay longer than a quick overnight.

This house was a great base for our vacation to explore the Redwoods. The proximity to the beach was perfect, with a great ocean view from the deck off the upstairs bedrooms. We had plenty of space for our whole family to spread out. While we didn’t cook much, the kitchen appeared to be well-stocked. Everything was clean and as described. We had a small snafu with the door code, but it was quickly resolved with excellent communication.Favorite places and must-see stops include Kin Khao Thai Eatery, Sea Front Baking Company, SeaQuake Brewing, and Fisherman’s Restaurant in town, as well as Trees of Mystery a bit up the road. Be sure to visit the lighthouse at low tide, watch the sea lions on the floating docks behind Chart Room Restaurant, and explore the tide pools along the beaches.

House is in a great location for local beach access, views, grocery shopping, eating and 20 mins to Trees of Mystery and 10 mins to the start of the road to Grove of Titans. House has many amenities. Definitely a rental. And ask for what you might need for cooking to make sure it is stalked.

I rented many homes and this was the biggest letdown I have ever had. The kitchen floor, which is huge was very sticky and tacky like fly paper. The big room which has so many pictures is completely useless. The room with the TV in it has a small couch and one chair comfortable for four. The only way to see the ocean was from the upstairs balcony. And that's not easy to get to because the spiral staircase is that the other end of the house and good luck trying to take a drink up there. The front yard patio would be nice if they had cut down the overgrown hedges. To see the ocean from the front patio, you have to stand up. to communicate you have to talk to people in the Philippines. That was a big obstacle. One time a lady had so many kids, screaming, and crying while we were trying to converse she could not understand me, and I could not understand her. There were dirty utensils in the utensil bowl. There were no drapes in the upstairs bedroom, which you have to go through one of the two bedrooms to get to that upstairs balcony. There are so many wonderful places to rent there. I picked the wrong one. Don't make the same mistake as me.
