This split level four bedroom house was great for me and my three sisters, all seniors.Everything was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with pans and utensils, though we suggested a few smaller pans be available. There was even the makings for s’mores if we wanted to use the fire pit. The driveway easily accommodated our three cars (we came from Iowa, Illinois, and Michigan. We were there for three complete days, and all the small towns on the Heritage Trail were easy to get to, for restaurants, shops, buggy rides, and our traditional miniature golf expedition. A fireplace and a tv on each of two levels. A large desk which was a great size for a large jigsaw puzzle (another tradition). Comfortable sofas, a large table, plenty of lighting, sliding glass doors for a view of the canal and access to the patio and outdoor area ( with large grill, outdoor table, fire pit with seating). The entry way is easy to navigate and the inside step to the levels short, good handrails, and easily closed off by a baby gate if necessary. Due to wind damage last year, the patio is being rebuilt, and currently doesn’t have a rail to prevent someone from falling over the edge, but that should be finished this year. Very quiet at night, on a cul-de-sac, so no street traffic. Only several miles from grocery stores. Laundry, darts, and gym equipment in basement and basketball court outside , for more entertainment. All rooms comfortable, though the furnishings are basic, with large .

Very peaceful neighborhood and is a great area to relax and watch the river views across the street. As well as the channel behind the property where you can fish between the property boundaries from edge of chain link fence over to tree and Rose of Sharon bushes.

What makes this property unique

Our quiet and safe neighborhood allows you the same comfort and safety feel as your own home and neighborhood! The beautiful views of the morning sunrise coming up over the river and trees with a cup of coffee in hand creates a grateful heart to be alive! The back of the property sits along the channel that gives you views of the swans and geese from the back patio and firepit area that comes with firewood to use free of charge. Fishing and kayaking are fun options too!
