Escape to this phenomenal lakefront 5-bedroom Errol retreat on Akers Pond. With 4 king beds, 4 full beds, and one queen sleep sofa this tranquil house offers a fantastic getaway for up to 15 guests. Bring your own boat and tie up to the private dock and enjoy everything the pond has to offer. Go for a kayak ride or do some fishing. Bring your side by side and go for a ride on the trails and take in the amazing foliage during the Fall. In the wintertime you can snowmobile right from the property to the main trail system or partake in some ice fishing. Have a gathering around the firepit and enjoy the beauty of this amazing property. Make unforgettable memories in this spacious and inviting home. You won't be disappointed. On the expansive deck you will find a gas grill, 6 seating patio table with automatic awning overhead, gas fire pit surrounded by a patio set with umbrella and chairs to relax in. Down below you will find a fire pit surrounded by 6 Adirondack chairs and plenty of firewood to use. If more chairs are needed, there are extras under the deck. Feel free to bring your own boat or jet ski and tie up to the private dock. The boat ramp is a short ride down the street, right after JML Trucking.
Sheets, pillows and blankets are provided, as well as bath and beach towels. Soap, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates and spices are provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, bowls, cooking utensils, plates, mugs, wine glasses, crockpot, blender, charcuterie board, toaster oven/air fryer, electric stove, 12 cup percolator and a 35 cup percolator, WiFi, central air, washer & dryer
Parking
Plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers in front of the house as well as on the side of the house.
Smoking is ABSOLUTELY NOT allowed in the house, only on the outside of the premises. Please dispose of your used cigarettes properly.

Things to do
In Winter, hit the snowmobile trails, which are accessible straight from our property, either across the frozen pond or the trail system that leaves the neighborhood.
Summer and Fall trail your side by side 2 miles down the road, either way. Take a left out of the neighborhood and there is parking and trail access behind the LL Cote Furniture store. Take a right out of the neighborhood and about 2 miles away there is parking and trail access behind the storage units in Millsfield located on the left side of the road.
Visit the beautiful Androscoggin River and Northern Waters Outfitters for some rafting and kayaking, or take a 7 mile drive to Lake Umbaggog state park
There are numerous beautiful hiking spots in all directions. Take in the foliage during the Fall months and be sure to go through Dixville Notch, which has its own amazing foliage display.
Head to nearby Colebrook and take in the beauty of Beaver Brook Falls, amazing spot!
If golfing is something you like to do Colebrook Country Club is about a 25 minute drive or take a 50 minute drive to the Rangely Lakes Region and you will find the Mingo Springs Golf Course, Evergreen Golf Course or the Moose Meadows Golf Course
Sunday River Ski Resort in Bethel, Maine is about a 45 minute ride. The Sunday River Brewing Company is also another great place to eat and grab a cocktail. Along the way there, don’t miss the Puzzle Mountain pie stand which offers some amazing homemade pies and goodies.
Rangeley Maine is another great place to visit. Its roughly a 50 minute ride straight down rt 16. Lots of great restaurants and shops. Dine at Sarge’s Sports Pub and Grub, The Corner Bar, Furbish Brew House & Eats, Portage Tap House, The Rangely Inn Tavern to just name a few. If your looking for some fun Moose Alley offers bowling, billiards, arcade, bar, great food and entertainment. Great Place!!
Saddleback Mountain is also located in Rangeley with lots of things to do, like skiing, ice skating, snow shoeing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing and golfing. Dine at The Pub At Saddleback or The Nest.
If you don’t mind the ride and are looking for some excitement, there is the Oxford Casino in Maine that is an hour and a half ride. Fun place!

Attend Errol's 4th of July parade and vendor fair. Enjoy the awesome fire work display over Akers pond.

Join or attend Pittsburgh's Parade of Lights. A spectacular sight!
Summertime if you don’t feel like going anywhere stay back at the house and enjoy everything Akers Pond has to offer. Do some fishing, swimming, bring your own boat or jet ski and tie up to the dock, go for a kayak ride or just hang out and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Wintertime hop on your sled and access the trail system right from the property. Enjoy a fire in the fire pit and do some sledding. Whatever season you and your family and friends enjoy this property has you covered
