This was our second stay at this home, and we have already booked ahead for next year. We love this location, and the amenities are fabulous. The hosts clearly care about their home and have provided high-quality items for guest use - from linens to silverware, everything is top-notch. The ice machine and ping-pong table are great extras. The walk to the dock is much easier than some of the other homes we've stayed in at the lake, too! If you have a large group, you may want to bring extra chairs for outdoor seating.

This was our fourth year staying at Sunset Shores and we have reserved a week for next year. We have eight adults and six children along with our pups and the home accommodates all of us, allowing space to spread out as well as ample room to gather for dining. Every year upgrades are made and the amenities are plentiful. We brought a boat and we rented a boat as there are two slips as well as a dock to play/swim around. So many fun hours in the lake with all of the children! Beautiful, fun and serene location very close to Marina's for alternative experiences. Highly recommend!

Our group of six children under the age of seven, and five adults, had no problem with the space in the house with room to spare. Kitchen was amazing with large table, and another dining area table that we didn’t even use. LOTS of steps down to the lake. Fire pit was great!Lily pad was a huge hit with everyone and kayak and SUP an extra bonus. I would definitely suggest that guests with small children bring paper plates, trash bags and toilet tissue. We all just loved this beautiful lake and rented a pontoon boat for more exploration and tubing!We all decided that we would definitely return to Norris Lake in the future!!Thank you Pam and Doug Elms🥰

Fabulous home!

The house has everything you would need. Very clean and the kitchen was very organized. Stayed there 2 time and was never disappointed. The dock was so much fun for the kids snd adults.

Fabulous week in this beautiful setting with all the family! Spent many hours on the dock/in the water, fishing with the kayak, adventuring the cove with the paddle board and roasting marshmallows in the firepit. Dock also accommodated our rental boat nicely. Fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill met all expectations for great mealtime with all the family accommodated in one large space. This was our 4th year at this property and we have already reserved for next year!

Our family had a fabulous week at this gorgeous property. It definitely wins the prize for best–stocked kitchen at any rental we’ve ever used. We had so much fun making dinners! A sizable dock fit all of us comfortably. Super close to our marina and we enjoyed a couple of trips over to the Tiki Hut. The host was very responsive when we needed her, too. Highly recommend! We hope to be back sometime.

Best of Norris Lake

We have stayed at several Norris Lake homes and this was the best! Great house and location. Owner friendly and helpful. Commercial ice maker was very beneficial and a must have. Plenty of room for our group of 11 people. Definitely would stay here again!

Sunset Shores Was Delightful!

The property was a perfect place to gather with our family and friends. We had a big group and this home had plenty of space for all of us. The ice maker in the bottom level was a game changer for bring ice to the coolers on the boat. This property is perfectly situated near 5 different marinas and the jumping bridge. We swam off the dock everyday after boating and had a great time! We will definitely book Sunset Shores again!

Family Vacation

The Elms was the perfect house for our family vacation! With the number of bedrooms and 3 separate bathrooms, we all had our own space. The ice machine in the basement was an amazing perk to fill coolers up to take down to the dock for the day. The dock was perfect for having a rental boat and lounging on. We enjoyed using the paddle board and kayak as well.

This property was in a great location. We swam off the dock every day with no worries about boat traffic, and the property was very easy to reach when we rented a boat for the day. The best of both worlds. The house was very clean and spacious, and had a great kitchen. There were lots of steps though, and you had to be careful getting down the concrete steps to the dock. This was a little tricky for some in our party. However, we would definitely stay here again.

Awesome week, super property owners

This is the second year we stayed at this property. It was even better the second time. The house is in great shape, very clean and welcoming. The neighborhood is clean, safe and easy to get into (no stone or winding roads). The walk to the dock was easy, and the firepit was very nice. We had a great week.

Spectacular!

Everything about our stay was wonderful - the home was clean, spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with tools for all of your cooking needs! The dock was perfect and felt much more stable than the one at other home we rented nearby. There are several marinas close which was helpful for renting toys and gassing up! Pam was very easy to communicate with - overall we loved this house and will definitely rent here again if we ever return to Norris Lake!

Lakeside Family Retreat

Wonderful house on the lake! We rented a deck boat for 4 days that we were able to keep at the convenient dock, spent hours each day playing in the water off the dock and were able to enjoy indoors with a variety of spaces in the evenings or on the rainy day. It was perfect for our family of 13 as well as our four-legged family members. This is our second year and we have made reservations for the third, hence now hoping to keep the tradition rolling!

This place had everything you could want. Plenty of room on each of the 3 levels. Beautifully decorated. Well stocked kitchen, 2 grills, kayak, beach towels, even plenty of toilet paper. This is the nicest place we have stayed at Norris Lake and we have been visiting for 20 plus years. View of the lake, not many steps, covered dock, well lit, pet friendly, .....

Well equipped lakefront home

Beautiful, well-equipped lake front home. Great for a large group. Best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had. Close to the water. Large swimming dock. Loved the 19x6 Lily pad for the kids. House is very comfortable. Decks are great. Lots of space to read or play or swim separately or together. Great communicative hosts. Highly recommend.

Peace and Tranquility

We rented this property as a Christmas gift to my husbands parents and siblings to have a family vacation. It was beyond expected. The house was clean, spacious and laid out perfectly. Prepare for stairs to get up and down to the water but worth every step! The floating dock is where spent our days floating on rafts and tubes, swimming and fishing. This is a dog friendly home and our girl Loved it too! Couldnt have expected a better first Lake vacation for our family.
