Suited our needs perfectly. Walking distance from everything in the centre of town and the accommodation is aged but very clean and comfortable. It is an historic property and should be appreciated as such. As a group of elderly, but active people, it suited us fine and was attractively priced.
We enjoyed our stay as there was plenty of living area space and it was central to main shopping area.
Didn’t need to get in car to go shopping or dining out.
Would recommend.
Thank you for sharing your property with us. It was a difficult task looking for a place for a group of 12. This house had 6 bedrooms which was ideal for 6 couples. The amenities, e.g laundry, toilet, were excellent. A beautiful home decorated tastefully with lovely gardens and sitting out areas. An enjoyable experience had by all.

Disapointed with check in details.unable to contact managers.
The house was fantastic, clean & warm with the little gift box on arrival. Sadly we did not receive our log in code, and was unable to contact the Managers for help. The repairman was able to help usout.
The property was great. We had plenty of space for all 11 of us to enjoy the large lounge area. The walk to Daylesford main street was easy and the restaurants were easily assessable. Great spot and we would definitely come back to York House again.

Bookclub weekend
Eight girlfriends who love to chat, discuss books and share a glass of wine. We've been doing this for 10 years but never beyond our local hood. This was a special weekend to celebrate the anniversary, good friendship, explore Daylesford and immerse ourselves at the Clunes Book Festival.
York House was our choice and it was the perfect choice for us. Incredibly well located and spacious. Plenty of rooms, incredibly well-equipped kitchen and lounge area. The only small thing we could have asked for was another blanket for the beds (particularly at the front of the house) as the weather is now a bit cooler. The electric blankets did not work or we could not work them out in all rooms. Other than that we could not fault it. Thank you Theresa.

Perfect location with plenty of space and everything you need.
Our family had a wonderful stay. The house was close to town so you could walk to the shops and look around. There was everything you needed. Having 2 loungerooms was perfect especially when when we had young children. Lovely and clean. Great not to have to worry about linen and towels (nice to have thick, soft towels). The hamper was a very nice surprise and was a perfect way to taste some local produce. We would stay again.

Beautifully decorated, very clean, spacious for 12 of us, not lacking in any way.
Great location, walking distance to key attractions and town centre. Back garden was lovely for afternoon drinks. Overall feeling of serenity and homely luxury.
