The house was cleaned well and spacious enough for all of us. The back yard had quite a bit of weeds coming out, but overall the house was well maintained. The host was super responsive and friendly (before, during and after our trip) check in and check out was super easy. The only issue we ran into was, our hockey team booked this house because we thought the hot tub would help us between games. However, the hot tub wasn’t working, they had maintenance tech and someone to fix the hot tub jets (coming at different times), so the hot tub jet fixer couldn’t access the breaker without the maintenance tech, so by the time they did fix it, we didn’t get a chance to use it. We did ask for compensation due to the hot tub being one of the main reason we booked the house. After weeks of getting β€œWe will check with the owners” and never receiving an update, even after following up (other than we’ll check with the owners), it would’ve been nice to receive an answer. Not being able to use the hot tub and not receiving a response regarding the compensation was disappointing.
