The Space:

Rustic Retreat is located in a beautiful neighborhood, with picturesque cabins, rolling hills, and all paved road access. It is conveniently located 13 minutes from Blue Ridge and 10 minutes from McCaysville. It provides easy access to restaurants, shopping, wineries, breweries, Mercier Orchard, hiking, tubing, horseback riding and all the other local attractions!



Entry to the cabin is by door code that is provided one day prior to your arrival. The cabin is easy to find and provides easy in/out access with a circular driveway with parking for up to four vehicles.



Once you enter, you will wrap around the short hallway into the kitchen that will be to your left and the living room to your right.



The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for those great family meals. It features all stainless steel appliances including: electric stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. There is a Keurig and coffee pods are provided. In addition, you have an island that provides additional space to prepare meals or place out snacks for everyone to enjoy!



The dining room has seating for up to six people and two additional chairs at the island location.



The cozy living room offers beautiful mountain views and has a wood burning fireplace for those cool nights, couch, chair, coffee table, side tables, lamps, area rug, smart tv and your fur babies very own space with a dog bed and bowls. Fur babies are always welcome!



You have deck access from the two sliding doors providing beautiful views and a great place to relax and enjoy Mother Nature! You are sure to see deer, squirrels, rabbits and occasionally a black bear! The deck is gated providing security for your fur babies and small children. In addition, the open deck side has a gas grill for the grill master in the family.



The master king bedroom is just off the living room. It is very open with a dresser, side tables, lamps, ceiling fan and smart tv. It is directly open to the bathroom but does have a private separate sink/toilet area that is closed off. The separate sink/toilet is accessible from the kitchen side as well.



Venture up to the loft area where entertainment awaits! You have your choice of shuffleboard, foosball, poker, and multiple board games. There is also a bar area and smart TV for your enjoyment. Make sure to say high to our fishing mascot as well. The loft will provide great mountain views!



The two additional queen bedrooms are located on the upper level as well. They are split with a jack/jill bathroom that has a walk-in shower and dual vanities. Both bedrooms have smart TVs, dressers, side tables and ceiling fans.



The lower level provides more living and entertainment space. Please be careful on the stairs as they are a little steep. Handrails are provided for your safety.



The first section of the lower level has a large pool table, smart TV and direct access to the outside patio/deck with a 5 person hot tub and additional outdoor seating.



There is an additional living room that has a reclining sofa, recliner, side tables, lamps, coffee table, area rug and large screen smart TV to catch the big game, family movie night or binge watch your favorite show!



The sauna is located just off the lower level living room and also features a full size bathroom (tub/shower combo) and laundry room with full size washer and dryer.



The outside yard is a great place for kids to run, walk your dog and just explore the property. It is relatively level in mountain terms, providing a gentle slope. The large fire pit area is just off the lower deck and it provides wonderful views while you enjoy s'mores, tell stories or just soak it all in!

Guest Access:

The Neighborhood:

Rustic Retreat is located in an upscale, beautiful neighborhood. The lots are large, and this location is relatively private. The home is visible from the road but the only traffic is from the neighborhood.

Privacy:

Other properties are in the neighborhood. We ask that you please respect the owner's privacy and comply with private property signs.



Pets:

Dogs only - All dogs must be kept on a leash when outside of the fenced area. Poop bags and dog bowls are provided for your furry family members. The number of dogs is limited to two and each must be under 50 lbs. The owners respectfully request that dogs are kept off the furniture and you crate your dog while away.



Trash and Litter:

Trash pickup service is provided on your day of departure. If the trash cans are full upon arrival, please contact the property management office. All trash must be bagged and placed into the trash cans provided and lids securely attached. Our nature friends love to make a mess when this is not done and the trash companies will not pick up loose trash. Also if you exceed the capacity of the trash cans before pickup it is your responsibility to remove and take to the disposal locations at:

Wildlife:

North Georgia is home to a variety of wildlife, including bears, snakes, raccoons, and other wild animals that may occasionally be encountered in forested areas and around the property. Please use caution when outside, keep a safe distance from wildlife, never approach or feed animals, and ensure doors, windows, and trash containers are properly secured.



Quiet time:

Please keep your noise to a minimum between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. both inside and outside. This includes hot tubs, fire pits, and porches. Sound travels easily in the mountains and can disturb unseen neighbors.



Smoking Policy:

This property is a NO SMOKING property of any kind.



Cancellation Policy:

Credit card processing fees ~3% are non refundable for VRBO reservations.
