About this property
JUNE28-JULY2 JUST OPENED; 100ftbeach frontage; 2free kayaks&paddle boat-sleeps12
Located in Traverse City, Michigan, this recently renovated 4 bedroom including a large loft bedroom cottage sits 45 feet from the water on a private 1 acre lot with 100-ft of sandy beach frontage on beautiful High Lake. High Lake is a peaceful 50 acre lake with very low water traffic but much natural beauty including the wild life and water fowl. New floors, high speed internet and WiFi throughout cottage along with remodeled small bathroom, updated bedrooms and new family room/den furnishings are a few of the improvements made to this cottage in spring of 2021. Property has its own private easy access boat launch. So feel free to bring your boat as there is also a dock available. Located only 4 miles from the Cherry Capital Airport and just 7-9 miles from the beautiful East & West Grand Traverse Bays, High Lake is wonderful for any water/ice sport during the summer or winter.
This 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom beach cottage can easily accommodate 3 families sleeping up to 13 people. There’s a loft upstairs which has 3 twin bunk beds and 3 bedrooms on the main level all of which have queen beds. Sheet sets, pillows and duvets are provided for your use. There are 2 bathrooms each with a shower. Towels (hand and bath) and wash cloths are available for your use along with beach towels. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are five televisions throughout the house, including a 55-inch smart TV and a 43-inch TV. Soaps are provided for your use and there is a washer and dryer on the main level. There is a large 2 level deck that has built in benches, a fire pit table with chairs and other deck furniture for your comfort as well as a gas grill. Great swimming in the summer with a dock, swim raft, two kayaks and a paddle boat free for your use. A pontoon can be rented. There is a great park (Grace MacDonald Park) that has tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, children’s playground, softball field and picnic area a mile away. A list of other activities and interesting places to visit while you are here along with the addresses and phone numbers for them will be available at the cottage.
