Velas Vallarta participates and assists the Giant Turtle Sanctuary in protecting and assisting the baby turtles, during the hatching season, at 8-8:30 every night that they have them, (I have seen between 4-250 at a time) you and or your children can go down to the beach and security will let you have a baby giant turtle to release into the ocean! A once in a life time experience that will be one of the most memorable from your trip!

A FANTASTIC unit to rent!!!

One of the nicest units we have rented in Velas Vallarta. This unit was nicely updated, well-equipped for cooking, had a fabulous view of the ocean and pools of the resort, very comfortable beds and air conditioning that actually worked. We would gladly stay there again!

Beautiful resort, spacious room.

We loved our stay in the 3 bedroom unit. It overlooked the pool and the bay. Our only complaint was that our beds were super extra extra firm and the sheets were starchy stiff. The room was very clean and beautiful!

Great property with great service

The stay was wonderful. Hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our room was ready around 4 which was why the 4 stars. We were there for a wedding anniversary and did not want to pay the all inclusive fees and decided to rent through Vrbo. We were able to enjoy the hotel amenities and pay for the food/drink a la cart.not was a great choice for us.

Excellent stay

We enjoyed the property in general and our apartment very much. The owner was excellent. She was very attentive when our AC broke. When the property maintenance crew could not fix it, she called an outside contractor who came quickly, found the problem and fixed it. I would highly recommend this listing!

Spacious with Stunning Views!

We enjoyed an incredible Thanksgiving week in Puerto Vallarta, and this property was the perfect place to call home while we were there. The unit had plenty of room for our family of six (4 adults + 2 teens), was well stocked with towels, shampoo, soap, etc., and the kitchen had everything we needed for basic cooking. We couldn’t get enough of the beautiful resort and coastal views from the balcony, and could hear the ocean from the comfortable beds each night. We have stayed at the Velas Vallarta before, but this unit is my new favorite. Maria was friendly, quick to respond, and answered all of our questions. The resort grounds and pools are well-maintained and it’s an easy walk to the marina for other dining options. We opted not to do the all-inclusive, but charged lots of meals and drinks and our bill was completely reasonable at the end of the week. This is a quiet property without a lot of nightlife, but with a relaxed, friendly vibe. Thank you for sharing your lovely condo, Maria, and we hope to come back and enjoy it again sometime soon!

Great stay with a few issues

Overall we had a great stay at this condo and resort. The condo itself is lovely and has a great view. Much more cost effective than the all inclusive options at the resort, which is also beautiful. Our main issue was with hot water…one shower only had cold water and the other had a drizzle of warm. So that was a challenge for 6 people. Plus when I messaged the host about it she never responded, and we had no contact information for on-site help to get it fixed. They also said there would be one change of towels during our stay which never happened. Lastly it was missing a few important items I would have expected, like trash bags, paper towels & conditioner, so be prepared to pretty much purchase all items like that. Proximity to the marina was nice, but the resort is a little far away from the action of town if you care about that. Overall we had a great time but also expected to be able to take a hot shower for what we were paying!

Family trip

Condo in PV We stayed at this condo the last week in December. We were a family of 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The condo was very clean and well equipped. The view from the balcony was amazing and we enjoyed sitting out and watching the boats and cruise ships go by. The resort had many pools and a beautiful beach. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the town of Puerto Vallarta is about a 20 minute cab ride. We were able to check in early and were greeted by the cleaner who showed us where things were and how things worked. The only thing in the condo that did not work well were the showers. The water temperature was lukewarm and the water pressure was very low. We tried contacting the property manager twice through the Vrbo app but got no response. Also, about a week before leaving, we also sent emails asking questions about the condo but these also went unanswered until I contacted Vrbo who was able to reach the manager and put me in contact with him. P.S. we did get maid service midweek with fresh sheets and towels.

Big Dissappointment

Our group of seven with a 90+ elderly had to wait for almost 3 hours to check in due to management miscommunication with the hotel front desk. The front desk told us the condo was not open for us even though everything was already confirmed. They had to contact the owner who also managed the rental, and they came over to sort it out. They ( Salvador and his son) were very apologetic for the error on their part and brought our group 8 quesadillas for the dinner we had missed since it was almost midnight once we checked in. This is the most disastrous check-in process through VRBO ever. They should have offered to reimburse us for one night. The condo was not cleaned up to hotel standard and the two bathrooms had terrible odor with drainage issues. The shower pressure was pathetic with water trickling from the shower heads. The kitchen utensils were dirty and we had to hand wash everything before using them We had to ask for toilet paper, paper towels, hand soaps. The only positive aspects of this condo were the view from the balcony and the sounds of the waves. It is located in a beautiful resort. We would book directly through the hotel if we ever return. The all-inclusive food at the resort was very good and the staff at the resort was superb. This is as objective as we can review.

Perfect!

I have been staying at the Vellas Vallarta for years and I can say that this was one of the nicest units we have ever rented there! The unit was modern, clean, and the owner was very responsive. Great view of the beach and the pools. Also excellent AC units! It had everything we needed for cooking. Will be back this time with my kids as there is so much to do there! Thank you for a great experience. I highly recommend this unit and resort!

Beautiful Unit and Location

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely 3 bedroom unit. It was clean, modern decor/furnishings, and is really well situated so you have gorgeous views of the ocean and sunsets. The beds were all very comfortable and it was nice to have 2 bathrooms for our family of 5. We didn't cook in the unit but it appeared to be well-stocked with dishes, utensils, glassware, etc and even had some spices. It was a very nice touch for Maria (the owner) to provide a gift of fresh fruit (pineapple, papaya, bananas, apples) and a huge jug of bottled water upon our arrival. Maria was also very prompt in answering our questions leading up to our stay which we really appreciated. The only constructive feedback would be to provide additional towels in the unit or give guests information about towel services through the hotel. We were there for a week and after several days we needed to swap our towels for fresh ones. The hotel seemed confused when we called to ask for new towels and we had to pay $20 USD to get them. Not a big deal but it might be nice for future guests to know that upfront. Lastly, in case other guests are debating whether to do the all inclusive option...we opted not to do it since it was quite expensive and we wanted to eat off site as well. However we ate breakfast/lunch and had tons of snacks and drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol) at the resort each day and it was still way less expensive than doing the per person all inclusive option.

The pictures of the online listing are very accurate to the unit. It was very well decorated and put together. Karla, the host, met us at the condo to be certain everything was to our satisfaction. The location of the condo within the property is excellent! We will stay here again.

Awesome location- great view

Awesome resort and property manager was very helpful when the AC Unit broke. Master bedroom AC unit was also not working well and could use some repairs however overall unit is gorgeous. One of the best views we have had while staying at this property. Would absolutely rent this unit again!

Great unit!

Really nice 3 bedroom/2 bath condo at Velas Vallarta right on the beach. Very well kept up and responsiveness with the owner was super quick and easy. Only issue is the second bathroom makes a strange sound when turning on the water, might want to get that looked at. Overall, an excellent condo!

Beautiful Marina Condo

Condo is very well furnished, clean as a whistle and well situated within the complex. We had an issue with hot water and was rectified in no time. The owners are very accommodating and helpful. We re-booked for 2 months for next year and I guess that is our testimonial about the unit.

Hi Maria, I just wanted to let you know we enjoyed staying in your condo. You really saved us since our other rental fell through 2 weeks before our stay. The only 2 things I wanted to bring to your attention is the air conditioner in the front room was not working very well and you could use more hangers. Otherwise, everything was up to date and comfortable. We would stay here again.
