Welcome to Little Roosevelt Lodge! We are so proud of this cabin and all it offers for our guests. You can choose how to use this space—play games or stream a movie in the loft, engage in conversation in our cozy, mid century modern living room, unwind in the hot tub on the back porch or even enjoy the serene lake you can access on property.
How our cabin is laid out:
Master king bedroom downstairs with its own bathroom. It has a smart TV and cozy electric fireplace. We use bamboo sheets (the softest!) and there is a washer and dryer off this downstairs bathroom.
Loft that has two very comfortable queen-sized sleeper sofas. The other full bathroom is in the loft.
There is a roller hide-a-bed available (twin sized) in the master closet. It includes all linens and a pillow.
We have a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need in an open floorpan with the living room (and 55 inch TV).
Outside we have a lovely back deck that overlooks the woods and a peaceful lake. Relax after a long day in the hot tub. We also have a gazebo area with comfy chairs and a propane solo stove fire pit. Go down the outdoor stairs and follow the trail (but be careful—it is a little steep) to a sitting area that overlooks the lake. If you have a fishing license, feel free to bring your tackle box and fishing pole and fish on the lake.
In the loft, play pool and arcade games or watch a movie on the 55-inch smart TV. We also have several board games that you are welcome to enjoy—mostly National Parks themed!
What makes us different:
We stock paper products such as paper towels and toilet paper. We include shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion in clean dispensers in both bathrooms. We have cable on all TV’s with ESPN so you won’t miss a big game (you are welcome to log in to your streaming services on our smart TV’s!)
We pride ourselves on our cleanliness—we want this to be a place we would want to stay and we are very picky about being clean!! We clean and maintain the cabin ourselves--no management company or cleaners. We truly care about how our cabin is maintained.
About our location:
The cabin is in a neighborhood, but it is relatively spread out and we have over 1/2 acre that backs up to a small, manmade lake. We have our own driveway and enough parking for multiple vehicles. Our cabin is close to many different attractions. We are located in Gatlinburg, very close to the Arts and Crafts district. “The strip” with entertainment, great restaurants, Ripley’s aquarium and shopping is only 15 minutes away. Dollywood is 20 minutes away and Great Smoky Mountain National Park is as close as 18 minutes away (the park is huge so some parts are close and some are farther away)
About your hosts:
My name is Miranda and my husband is Daniel we’re your hosts! We love visiting the National Parks —our goal is to visit them all! Great Smoky Mountains National Park is one of our favorites and what we consider our “home park” since we live close by in Knoxville. As you look around the cabin, notice the photos—most of them are from our travels to the parks over the years. This is our family’s personal cabin and we want you to be comfortable as our guests here so we have done our best to make it a place we want to stay (and we do stay frequently, so we are always in tune with the cabin’s condition and cleanliness).
Our rules/suggestions:
No pets Check in is at 4PM and check out is at 10AM Prior to check-in we will send a google form for you to fill out—it helps us to better prepare for your stay! Please reach out to us directly with any questions or concerns—we are happy to help! We do not have a garbage disposal in the kitchen--please be careful as you use the kitchen sink. Please be respectful of bears—they are just waiting for you to set your trash on the porch so they can tear it up (ask us how we know….)!! Please use the available bear trash cans and don’t ever leave any food outside unattended. Please understand that while our cabin is very clean this is the woods and there are bugs!! Spiders, ants, mosquitos etc. We do use a pest control service but being in the woods—there will always be bugs! We recommend bug spray when you are outside in the warmer months. Please enjoy the lake at your own risk—you are welcome to fish, but there are no lifeguards and the lake is really not maintained for swimming. If you choose to fish, please bring your own fishing gear (there is none at the cabin) and make sure you have a fishing license because this is not a private lake. Please be careful when using any outdoor areas—there could be poison ivy, steep areas, slippery rocks, etc.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Thanks for your review! We’re so glad you chose our cabin and hope you come again sometime!
This was a perfect place to be in the middle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! The cabin was was extremely comfy and perfect for a family with kids! The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with!
We had a wonderful time at the Little Roosevelt Cabin. It was evident that Miranda put a lot of thought and care into making our stay special. I would highly recommend booking a stay at their beautiful cabin as it feels secluded but still close to all the main attractions in Gatlinburg. The property was very clean, organized and stocked with all the essentials. We felt comfortable and at-home during our stay. We really enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and board games.

Extremely impressed by the cabin. It's in an excellent location close to everything and very well kept. Definitely staying here again. Host went above and beyond to make our stay great! Kids loved the arcade and hot tub and we even spotted a moma bear and her 3 cubs near our trash can one morning. Hot tub was relaxing and the small lake was peaceful. Very private for being so close to Gatlinburg. Loved the cabin and this vacation!

We loved our visit to the Smoky Mountains. The cabin was very comfortable and felt like home. Simply beautiful. We especially loved the loft area with all the games that were provided. The pool table was a bonus. The owner was in direct contact with us the whole time. Easy directions to follow and we were close to all the entertainment. We loved the Local shops from the Arts and Crafts area. We bought several memorabilia from them. People were very friendly and helpful. This cabin and owner was 10/10! I definitely recommend this rental. The cabin was easily sleep 6 people. A Great place to enjoy and relax.

Hosts were very welcoming and considerate and the cabin was perfect for our family of four. Our kids preferred staying at the cabin over anything else! Don't miss out on walking the trail to the pond and seeing the ducks!

What a great cabin!! Our family loved the entire stay. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. The cabin is hands down our favorite we’ve stayed in yet when visiting The Smokey’s. And will be a staple going forward. We were lucky enough to see a friendly little black bear each morning :) the pond had lots of fishing, although my son was the only one to catch anything. This cabin is the perfect mix of quietness, and convenience being close to downtown Gatlinburg. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and outgoing. Perfect cabin, would absolutely recommend to anyone :)

Sorry for the delay being under the weather since returning home. The house was amazing we really enjoyed the set up you couldn’t ask for a better home to come home to. The host was there for us when help was needed getting into the home ,other than that the stay was perfect. I would love to stay here again next year if we come back to Gatlinburg. Thank you so much for having us share your home.

Looking for a quiet getaway, but close to town? Look no further! This cabin is so cute and homey! The host was fantastic! The cabin was VERY clean and had everything we forgot, haha! We headed out for a couple hours of go-kart fun, and my daughter forgot pony tail holders. Well, there just so happened to be some in both bathrooms!! The host also provided snacks (with a hand-written card and a little sign personalized for our family - so sweet!!) which included items everyone enjoyed. During our drive, my son was eating peanut butter crackers and asked if I could get the cheese ones next time? What do you know, there were mini Ritz cheese crackers in the snack bin :). There are also full bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and soap. It's just small things, but they made a big difference (and happy kids which equals happy parents). There are games for all to play and Lincoln Logs! Unfortunately, I had to work some while there, but I was able to connect and sit out under the gazebo with a fire for my Zoom meetings (yes, I know it is summer, but you can't sit out in the woods overlooking the water with fresh morning mountain air without a fire). Kiddos and husband enjoyed the hot tub to relax after our long drive. There is a Food City very close by with a Starbucks inside!!!! We absolutely loved this cabin, and hope to be back soon!!!
