HIGH-ELEVATION COMFORT (NO AC)
Please note:
Our home was built without central air conditioning, which is common for homes at this elevation. Thanks to the naturally cool mountain temperatures, shaded tree canopy, and many screened sliding doors and windows, the home stays pleasantly cool throughout spring, summer, and fall. We also provide portable fans in every bedroom to ensure your comfort year-round.
We do have a central heating system for winter months as well as the gas fireplaces on each level for winter warmth.
To help maintain air quality, we kindly ask guests to run the dehumidifier regularly and keep the home’s HVAC thermostat set to “Circulate.” Unless you have the windows and doors open, then these can be left off until windows and doors are closed.
Guests will have access to the entire home except the unfinish basement storage space, and a few locked closest for owner and cleaning storage.
