Welcome to Whispering Trees Cabin, your ultimate retreat nestled in a serene five-acre wooded lot, providing the perfect blend of spacious log cabin and seclusion. Offering 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin comfortably sleeps six, making it the ideal destination for families or groups of friends seeking an unforgettable Hendersonville getaway.

Whispering Trees Cabin offers spacious accommodations, along with the perfect location, surrounded by nature at its best with deer roaming the backyard, the sound of birds, and privacy and only a 12 minute drive into downtown Hendersonville.
Bring your bikes to get onto the new Ecusta Trail.
You can access our new Ecusta Trail nearby and ride it all the way into town or out to Horse Shoe.

Each of the three bedrooms features an ensuite bathroom, providing privacy and convenience for all guests. The main level hosts the primary bedroom with a plush King bed, tv, an exquisite full bath, fresh towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer.

On the second level, discover a cozy guest bedroom with a Queen bed, tv, and an ensuite full bath.

The beautifully finished lower level offers another Queen bed perfect for privacy with its divider and ensuite bath with a walk-in shower, tv and dining table in rest of the finished walk out basement to the lower patio, hot tub, seating and fire-pit.


Your fully equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar with seating for six, perfect for enjoying meals together. The lower level provides additional dining space to be sure everyone can dine in comfort. For your convenience, a washer and dryer are located by the kitchen area.



The open-concept living area features a cathedral ceiling and rich wooden accents, inviting you to relax and soak in the tranquil log cabin atmosphere.
Enjoy entertainment on the 40" ROKU TV, complete with a ROKU Remote, and stay connected with our upgraded free WiFi for streaming.



Step outside to indulge in the private backyard, take a soak in the hot tub, make a camp-fire and make some s'mores and share your stories from the day on the trails.
Your family dog is also welcome. Please inform Julie if you plan to bring your dog. A pet fee required prior to arrival.
For groups larger than six, inquire about our nearby Whispering Trees Loft, which accommodates two additional guests.

Our stay was great. The location is close to town but the cabin itself is off the road and surrounded by woods, making it very peaceful. The beds were also comfortable. We would stay again.

Loved it!

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Our family of 4 all had our own spaces to stretch out and the common areas were perfect for family time. The cabin was close enough to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants and activities but was very quiet and peaceful as well. We will reserve this spot again in the future.

Great Family Time

This home was in the perfect location for us...we were able to go to Dupont, Pisgah, and Chimney rock over the week to walk the trails, hike, and swim in some amazing waterfalls. The home was clean, well cared for, and everything we needed. The kids loved the fire pit and walking down the hill to the little stream to catch salamanders.

Top notch cabin

Whispering Tree Cabin is a well maintained, spacious cabin in a great location. Great deck, fire pit, hot tub and the beds and baths are great! The driveway is treacherous if you do not have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Even with the partially concreted drive the curve was tough for us. There was no phone service or Direct TV the entire time we were there. It would have been better to follow the weather on either device since Hurricane Dorian was coming up from the Bahamas. Other than those 2 things the cabin is pretty near perfect. We highly recommend it.

Yes, we do let everyone know that if you are not used to windy steep driveways it is something to get used to. All vehicles are fine except for maybe a corvette, will arrive safely. Very nice, quiet, secluded, and great amenities!

We returned from a family reunion in TN on way home to SC. We stayed 2 nights and very much enjoyed the cabin. It was very clean and very cozy. I would not recommend for large family as only 2 bedrooms and 2 beds, although there is a sofa sleeper. There is no kitchen table and just a long counter bar. This was fine for my wife and I and our adult son. Perfect for small family with 1-2 kids. Hot tub was clean and easy to use, and having fire pit so close was perfect for walking out to from the house and doing s’mores one night. Lot is heavily wooded and only barely heard the occasional car on the road. Saw lots of deer each day in the back yard, and a small bird nest on the porch with babies being fed each day. There were a few things we did not care for though, and why 4 stars. The mattress in the downstairs is terrible. The kind you sink into and way too soft. We won’t be able to return until that is replaced. Second, there are 4 exterior cameras. Although pointed at entries and yard, it felt a bit obtrusive. Added to this is a lot of exterior lighting that cannot be turned off, and with blinds, there was no way to completely black out. Neither of these things was terrible, but did put a small cloud on the overall experience. Location was great, and we made it to the NC Arboretum, downtown Asheville, and DuPont state park during our short stay. There is an Ingles not too far we stopped at on the way in and they had small bundles of fire wood. Was able to leave some for next guest as second night was rainy. Finally, we can’t forget the driveway. 4 wheel drive is recommended. We had front wheel drive Nissan Pathfinder and after some rain, mud under gravel became too soft and tires sank. We got stuck a couple times and even in low gear, very tough. Recommend low gear and don’t stop or pause once you start. We made some pretty deep ruts getting up driveway and not by choice. Overall I do recommend this cabin and will plan on returning if we hear mattresses replaced.

It will let future guests know there is plenty of wildlife, and the hot tub is always clean and prepared for each guest, and other great amenities. As for the steep and partly graveled driveway, we will continue to share with guests, low riding vehicles are not best on the driveway, and appreciate you pointing that out. Thank you. As for the soft bed on the first floor, many other guests rave about the comfy beds, but we will be sure to look into it for making sure our beautiful cabin continues to have Happy guests. And, we welcome you back to any one of our lovely cabins in the area.

Amazing cabin and amenities within easy driving distance of hiking, downtown Hendersonville, and Asheville. Photos were accurate but it’s even better in person! Fully stocked with everything we could have needed and excellent instructions for using everything the cabin had to offer. The highlight was definitely the hot tub and fire pit. Very quiet and private, and a fantastic way to disconnect and unwind. Will be back!!

Great getaway

Great private getaway for our anniversary. We have two toddlers at home, and I would feel comfortable bringing them here to stay in the future. Very clean and well -stocked. It was still doable to go to town for meals, however the road is narrow and curvy and I wouldn’t recommend driving it at night, or after a couple of beers. We did not find the driveway to be much of an issue and we don’t have 4 wheel drive. It was also very rainy, and the driveway was still manageable (for those that are worrying about it).

Amazing Fall Break

Secluded is the perfect word for this cabin in the woods. Every morning we woke up surrounded by new colors in the trees and leaves gently falling. Couldn’t ask for a better place!

Great Cabin for a Family Getaway

We had a great experience staying at this cabin! As a family of 5 there was plenty of room for all of us. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stayed! We saw a deer in the backyard shortly after arriving. Most of our days were spent in Pisgah National Forest which was only about a 20-25 minute drive to the park entrance. Downtown Hendersonville was only a 10 minute drive and a super cute little town- we loved the restaurant Never Blue. Driving up and down the driveway was a little scary- it's very steep. Would definitely stay here again!
