We had a wonderful time at this home. Everything was clean and comfortable. The few questions I had were answered immediately by the host via text. I would happily recommend this rental option to a family looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay on eastern LI.

This place needs work. Front door handle is broken, top lock only works. First bedroom ceiling fan didn't work. Refrigerator do doesn't stay closed you need to use the lock attached to the side to keep it from opening. The bathroom sink, handles and faucet were unstable. Hot water temperature is scalding hot. Shower floor could be hard water stains or soap scum. It leave you with a feeling of a dirty shower floor. Beds are old and too soft for your body to rest. NOTE, if you are traveling with children be aware no added cabinet or closets are stable or secured. Tenants above start their days early so you'll be woken up. Walking with heavy shoes opening and closing doors. Most importantly no AC. Coming from Arizona we dont do well without air. I asked for fans and was told their were none to open the windows. We eventually got a AC but we had a few nights without. Thank goodness for the front porch sitting on the bench in a cooler breeze was nice.
