This historic Rotch and Tilden designed 1889 mansion includes 10 bedrooms 9.5 baths to comfortably accomodate 17 guests. Amenities include central air conditioning, heated indoor pool and spa tub, heated outdoor pool, 80 foot covered porch overlooking the manicured back lawn, pool, bocci court and gazebo. Fully equipped gourmet kitchen, eight fireplaces, 60" UHD TV, full house WIFI, sound system. Conventiently located in the Village of Lenox, you may stroll to stores, restaurants, Tanglewood. All Berkshire cultural venues, lakes, hiking, skiing are just a short drive away. This property is not licensed as a Wedding Venue and no amplified music is allowed. Five night minimums when available September through May. Seven night minimums when available June through September. No smoking of any kind inside and on property grounds. No pets.

An absolutely beautiful restoration of a vintage gilded age mansion. Exquisite historical details with updated modern amenities. Thoroughly appointed kitchens, one on the main floor and one on the ground floor, made it easy to cook for our group of 15. The huge porch made an easy hangout for all three generations, and also served as a comfortable lookout to keep an eye on the kids enjoying the heated in-ground pool. Lenox is a quintessential New England village and this house is a 5-minute walk from the downtown shops. It’s also an easy drive to Tanglewood and could be walkable for the fit - it’s just under two miles. The AC was a welcome modern addition, even if it could be tricky to get even cooling throughout the zone. Still, with 5 different zones in the house, everyone found their right temperature. And with 10 bedrooms and at least as many bathrooms (some partial), everyone in our group of 5 couples and 5 kids had the space and privacy they needed. Overall, an incredible find in the heart of the Berkshires and would definitely recommend this stay.
