Villa Zora is a stunning property and the perfect homebase for my family of 8 people. Very modern, new and clean. The property manual explaining all the amenities, appliances etc was the most complete manual I have ever seen! Great extras like plush towels and some bathrobes, Nespresso machine, wine in fridge, AC in every room, etc.At check-in, we couldn't get the keypad to work but there was a backup key which worked fine. Host was very responsive throughout the stay.I did note that the listing referred to 4 full baths with shower, but it is 3 full baths and one half bath. It was more than enough for our family.Location is in a very quite residential area. Although the backyard pool area borders the street, there is very little traffic on this private lane so we didn't have any issues with it. We would walk down to the beach (about 15-20 mins) - all downhill so it was easy. Walk back is longer since straight uphill... depending on our energy, we might take short taxi ride back. We used taxis to go to the waterfront in the evening for suppers (although the kitchen is fully equipped and suppers home would be lovely in that setting).Makarska is a beautiful welcoming Croatian town and the Villa gave us stunning views overlooking town. We look forward to a return one day! Highly recommend Villa Zora!
