The hosts were highly responsive and provided detailed answers to all our questions before arrival.The amenities in this lovely cottage are extremely good—even better than what you would find in five-star hotels. The place is well-maintained and surrounded by a beautiful forest and friendly animals.I would strongly recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to get away from the city and explore this beautiful area.

We love the tranquility and wildlife in the Sierra Foothills and enjoy sharing that peace and quiet with our guests. Hospitality is our way of life and we want you to feel at home when you walk in. Our guests are delighted to receive a bottle of wine and fresh sourdough bread upon arrival (if ok'd by the guest).

Why they chose this property

Our property is studded with mature pine, oak, cedar and manzanita trees. Every window has views of trees and wildlife. Our neighbors are quiet and no neighbor's house is visible from the cottage (except glimpses of ours through the trees). Occasionally you will see our chickens free ranging and most likely you will see deer and wild turkeys, foxes and many kinds of small birds from the large dining room windows.

What makes this property unique

Most guests comment on how peaceful & quiet it is out here and that the bed is very comfortable! The fireplace makes it a cozy getaway. The kitchen has everything you need, including several ways to make coffee. The gas grill outside is ready to go as well.
