This completely private 2 bedroom cottage has been sympathetically refurbished, with traditional style flooring, beamed ceilings, solid wood windows, beautiful beamed ceilings, and an open fireplace. Attention to detail has ensured the house remains light and airy despite its traditional build…
There is a spacious kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, & fridge freezer. The window overlooks the garden and pool .The kitchen leads up a few stairs into a pretty living room with lots of windows, fireplace, TV, DVD, CD & comfy seating.
Upstairs the house has a pretty double bedroom with door leading outside, a twin room (which can also be converted to a double) & a luxury shower room with hydro massage shower. There is also a very large light landing with sofa bed which can be used as a further living area or as a 3rd bedroom.
Outside there is over 5 hectares of private land including a garden area , swimming pool,eating area, and woodland bordering a stream.

Beautiful relaxing stay

Very secluded villa, beautiful well kept property with lovely hosts, they left a basket of food when they came to clean the pool which was a lovely touch and a homemade pie on arrival. On the day of arrival it was cold and rainy and they had lit the fire for our arrival. Not much opportunity for eating out, every time we walked into the village all the restaurants were closed

Stunning Setting

We had a little difficulty locating the property initially, but this was due to our tiredness from travelling rather than a problem with the property directions, which were good. We could hardly believe our eyes when the villa finally came into view - it is beautiful. Photographs do not do it justice. Alessio and Rosalba keep a beautiful property in a stunning secluded location. The villa and pool are immaculate and this is due to Rosalba and Alessio's attention to keeping the property clean. They do this discretely. You would never know they had been, but for the beautiful gifts left behind! We thoroughly enjoyed a really relaxing stay, making use of the pool and the barbeque throughout. We loved the quietness - just the jingling of the goat bells in the distance broke the silence. Fantastic! And Rosalba's tartes are sublime treats. We can thoroughly recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday.

Wonderful retreat in the mountains of Tuscany

The location is wonderful: quiet, private, surrounded by a lovely garden and surrounded by woods. The house is very well kept and comfortable. Pool is lovely, just as the outdoor dining area. Great place to slow down!

Peaceful setting for a beautiful house

The house has everything you need for a relaxing get away from it all holiday and is even nicer than the photos on the website. Fresh cut flowers, a large custard tart and a bottle of fizz were waiting for us on our arrival together with Rosalba the lovely owner. The house is very well equipped with tea, coffee, sugar, salt, herbs and spices - worth knowing if you are shopping in a hypermarket on the way! Corfino is about 20 mins walk away and there is a bar/cafe there with amazing views over the valley and mountains. We hiked up to Pania di Corfino from Orricchiella National Park which is only around 5 minutes drive away - there's a cafe there too. Fabulous walk and stunning views. In September the weather was chilly in the morning and evening (plenty of wood for the huge fire) but blue skies and warm sunshine during the day. Definitely recommend this beautiful house and surrounding area.

Great house in a beautiful peaceful setting

What a beautiful place. The house was great and had everything we needed for a relaxing week. Corfino has several small shops for essentials and is a lovely little village. Easy day trip to Lucca on the train and the San Romano ropes course was great. The swimming pool at the house was beautifully warm and clean. The owners were extremely nice and everything was easy. Highly recommended for those wanting complete peace and quiet! We were a family with 2 kids aged 10 and 12.

Died and gone to heaven

his has to be the most secluded, beautiful, peaceful, enjoyable and relaxing holiday we have ever had, and we have 2 young (8 and 11) children. Finding the villa was an adventure, staying in the villa was a delight, we cannot wait to go back... which we will! I've no doubt for some families this will not be right, but for us, we thought it was heaven. The accommodation was immaculate, and the care shown by our hosts, (whom we actually only saw on arrival and when we left - they stay offsite), was nothing short of amazing. If you're looking for literally perfect, off the beaten track, quiet, restful and peaceful holidays, this is it.... Just don't book it when we want to!!

Perfect

Lee, Kay and Melissa from Ledbury UK. This will be a long review but well worth the read. My family and I have travelled worldwide and always stopped in hotels so this was the first time we had ever rented a house and we were a little nervous and apprehensive as we all hear and see horror stories on the news and via social media about holidays going wrong BUT book with confidence Lorraine was always quick to reply to any and all emails when booking and only a phone call away when we arrived even late on Sunday. Thank you Lorraine. The House 1 hour 30 minutes from Pisa. You gain access to the house via a private half mile long drive way with security Gates half way down. The pictures of the house and grounds do not do it any justice it's better in real life. The house is immaculate, well maintained and very peaceful/quiet the owners are the best we arrived late Sunday evening and had no opportunity to buy any food so they went back home and russelled up some food for us and brought it back with a homemade cake about three days into our holiday they left us a basket full of fresh produce and vegetables and a second home cake for the start of the second week of our holiday. The owner's come to the house every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to clean the pool not that you will ever noticed them there because they come at around 6:30 a.m. they clean the house from top to bottom every Saturday at 2:30 p.m. even kept us supplied with dishwasher tablets and washing detergent for use in washing machine it's the little things that make a holiday special and Mr and Mrs Giorgi are the perfect hosts. Thank you xx

Stunning villa in a stunning secluded location

Selected this villa based on the secluded location and rural surroundings. It certainly delivered. It is situated in a beautiful setting and offers a completely private retreat. Inside and out the villa is immaculate and well equipped. Rosable & Giorgio are meticulous in their care including discreetly cleaning the pool very regularly. The local fruit and desserts were a very welcome addition. The local village of Corfino is 5 minutes drive and is really lovely. It has 2 small shops where you can buy local produce. Definitely a villa we would return to.

Superb villa

Superb villa which has a super location with a large private plot with a lovely pool area. Super service of the hosts who came with homemade cake and local delicacies. Can recommend this villa - we were 2 adults and 2 children (10 and 16)

Private secluded piece of Tuscany

Very private and secluded villa, beautiful location away from the beaten track, pool and outside areas absolutely wonderful. The villa has plenty of space for a family and the facilities were excellent. If you're looking for something completely secluded then this is perfect for you. It's a fair drive to anywhere with a shop or restaurant (30 mins to the nearest big town). The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. Only downside (and this is obviously not the fault of the owners) is the Tuscany insects which can be a pain - recommend some good insect repellant and an electric "zapper" to combat these!

Romantic retreat, seclusion, privacy and views

A fabulous villa with plenty of space, with mountainous views, seclusion and privacy for 2 couple or a family of 4. Rosalba and her husband take meticulous care of their property, your visit and the pool which is heated by solar panels. Comfortable beds can be unusual in rental villas but these were the exception. Really well equipped kitchen and log wood fire burner for those chilly evenings. We almost ran out of wood on our visit but our hosts were vigilant to our needs. The cake and eggs were an unusual treat not had on previous vacations, on other destinations. The drive up is adventurous and the access road to the villa is a little challenging but secure. Drive further up the mountain to the national park area. Visits to the local towns are amazing and the locals really don't mind you trying out your Italian. I not only recommend this villa but also Tuscan retreats, go for it folks! We'll be back!

An amazing summer in Italy

we spent two fantastic weeks in the house 491207. The location was great and the house, garden and pool were clean. We felt very comfortable even more when we learned that the owners were really friendly and helpful. We were spoilt by the owners during the whole time. We will recommend this place to our friends, relatives and everyone who needs a relaxing time!

2 weeks in July (familly with 3 children)

The location of the house is in the forest on a mountainside. The place is very quiet and relaxing. We have not suffered any heat because of the altitude (920m), despite the great weather during the day. The house is very clean and well maintained. The pool is beautiful. The interior is well furnished, the decor is nice, nothing is missing. The bedding quality is good (one double and two single beds) with the exception of the sofa bed which is not suitable for sleeping with an adult or adolescent. The mattress should be changed to ensure a comfortable bed. We were five, a child must use the sofa bed. It is the only thing that could be improved. The owners are very nice and we have offered cakes, vegetables, honey ... This is ideal for those wishing to enjoy the surrounding nature and visit the cities of Lucca (??1:15 one-way drive) and Pisa (1h30 one-way drive). The sea is an hour away. Florence and Siena are a bit distant, respectively at 2:15 and 3:00 one-way drive. We suggest avoiding "Pinocchio Park" in Collodi, it is expensive and poorly maintained, not much to see ... We recommend this location, it is one of the best we've had in years. Familly from France

Villetta Corfino

We came to Villetta Corfino in 2010 and were so impressed with the property that we returned this year. The property itself is very comfortable and spacious, with a quirky layout over four levels. We found it very well equipped, with a good kitchen for those that like to cook on holiday. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The position is breathtaking - high up in the mountains, with birds of prey flying overhead, and only a few minutes drive away from Orrechiella Park. Being in the mountains means that no matter how hot it is during the day, the nights are cool so no trouble sleeping! The pool is great, with the addition this year of the solar heating. Again, it's well looked after and beautifully presented. The owners are very welcoming, and we have enjoyed the fresh produce and wine that they have left for us. This is an incredible property for those wanting some tranquility away from it all - you will need a car, but nothing is too far away. Lucca is always a nice day out, and we all liked the climbing park at San Romano, but mostly we just enjoyed being at the house!

AUSGEZEICHNET

Wir haben hier fast 2 Wochen verbracht (September). Wir haben den Gastgebern geschrieben, wann wir ankommen und wurden pünktlich empfangen. Das Haus ist groß, sehr sauber und es war wirklich alles da vorhanden und es hat uns im Haus nichts gefehlt! Der Pool wurde regelmäßig gereinigt (wir haben davon gar nicht mitbekommen, da es wohl früh morgens passiert). Wir sind mit Hund angereist und der Garten war perfekt dafür! Er ist fast durchgehend eingezäunt. Bis Corfino zu Fuß waren es 20 min - man kann da schön hinwandern. Das Haus ist im Wald gelegen, sodass man tagsüber und nachts nichts hört außer die Tiere. Privatsphäre pur! Für Kaminholz ist ebenfalls gesorgt! Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen! Auch die Abreise ging super problemlos. Die Gastgeber waren einfach so zuvorkommend, nett und einfach nur toll. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!!! Linda, Michael & Cooper

Das Ferienhaus liegt mitten in den Bergen.Das Haus und der Garten sind sehr gepflegt.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Pool ist perfekt. Die Vermieter sehr freundlich und zurückhaltend. Wenn man viele Ausflüge machen möchte muss man mit längeren Fahrzeiten rechnen. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht wird sich wohlfühlen.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Das Haus liegt etwas abgelegen und war zunächst schwer zu finden. Der Urlaub dort war wunderschön und die Gastgeber sehr nett. Das Dorf mit einem kleinen Laden und Pizzeria und Restaurants ist zu Fuß in etwa 25 Minuten über einen schönen Weg erreichbar. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man seine Ruhe haben will!

Dieses Haus ist wirklich super gepflegt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und kümmern sich um alles! Vielen Dank noch einmal! Das Haus liegt in ziemlicher Höhe in völliger Alleinlage. Man hat Ruhe und es stört einen wirklich niemand. Der Pool ist super und immer schön warm. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet, so dass man sich richtig wohl fühlen kann. Ein wirklich tolles Haus in toller Lage!

Schönes Haus mit tollem Pool im Niemandsland, Wanderungen im Oricchella-Park mit/ohne Guide absolut lohnenswert, Einkaufen in Corfino gut möglich, sehr entspannte Woche, Pool wurde morgens um 7 dreimal in der Woche gereinigt, ansonsten war man komplett für sich

Wunderschöne Villa

Man kann nur sagen, einfach wunderschön. Tolles Ambiente im Inneren und im aussenbereich auch sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Der Pool ist wirklich groß und es hat den Kindern sehr viel spaß gemacht darin zu schwimmen und mit einem Wasserballern zu spielen. Mann ist mit dem Auto in 30 Minuten bei Guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und in 1:30 in Pisa und in 2:30 in Florenz. Sehr viele Wander Möglichkeiten. Liebe Grüße Fam. Kornek
