The house was fantastic and exactly as pictured! My whole family - ages 1 year old to 74 years old loved it. Everyone had a great time in the pool and the hot tub. The bedrooms were beautiful and furnished exactly as we needed them to be - with private spaces for the adults and a fun bunk room for the kids, the dining room table was perfect for my large family and the kitchen had all of the dishes and pots and pans for our meals. Some of us forgot our toiletries and there were even toothbrushes with toothpaste and razors in some of the bathrooms. Ryan is an amazing host. He almost immediately responded to every one of my messages. He even ordered baby gates to be delivered to us the evening we arrived. My daughter in law already said we should make it a family tradition and rent the house every year.

This is an amazing property, but not without its drawbacks. Most of the rooms are fascinating, very creative in design, and the amenities (pool, kids playroom, pool table) are very nice. But the overall impression is less than the sum of the parts. For example, the layout is a bit of a maze that takes some getting used to; the number of full bathrooms is less than desirable; some of the rooms, while they have a full-size bed, are set up so that you can only get into the bed from one side, making them less accessible. The caretaker is top-notch -- very knowledgeable and helpful, if you can't find something or can't figure out how something works. Bottom-line: the kids will love this place, but adults might find it a bit frustrating.
