Cozy, quiet home with central heat & A/C, high-speed WiFi & excellent cell reception. Furnished in a minimalist fashion for calm, comfort and convenience--you can relax, sleep soundly, cook and do laundry--but no clutter. This would be a great spot for a holiday family gathering. Sleeps up to 8, and the dining room table seats 10! It is just a short distance from all the attractions and activities the "High Country" is famous for. Nestled among Christmas tree farms, 1/4 mile off Highway 421/221, one mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway; 10 miles to Boone and App State University; 15 miles to Blowing Rock , Todd, and West Jefferson; 20 minutes to the Art of Living Center; 25 minutes to Wilkesboro; and 25-45 minutes to major ski resorts. The apartment downstairs is a separate listing and is not accessible from inside the house.

Why they chose this property

I love the view of the “deep gap,” watching the Christmas trees grow, the amazing sunrises… I also appreciate the convenience of a highway commute to Boone or wherever, and the proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
