Thank you so much for the 5-star review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you loved our fantastic location. Being in the perfect spot truly makes all the difference for a memorable and relaxing getaway. Thank you so much for the kind words! We agree—the location is beautiful, but the wildlife really makes it special. We’re so glad you got to experience that 'extraordinary' viewing during your stay. We can’t wait to welcome you back to your new favorite spot!

Thank you so much for the glowing 5-star review! Hosting a multi-generational group with six adults and toddlers can take some juggling, so we’re thrilled the home gave everyone the space, comfort, and room to spread out. Having all the beach chairs, umbrellas, and kid-friendly sand toys ready to go makes packing and beach days so much easier—and getting calm water for kayaking right off the shore sounds like an absolute highlight! Thank you as well for sharing that pro-tip about the seasonal no-see-ums; bringing along Skin So Soft or bug spray is definitely great advice for fall island visitors. We're so glad the pool and beach made for a memorable family vacation, and we’d love to welcome your family back anytime!

It was a total pleasure hosting your family, and we would love to welcome you back to the pool and the beach again very soon!

Thank you for your review. Our team inspects after each departure to make sure everything is as perfect as possible. Our apologies for the AC as things can happen from time to time. The service techs did come out after hours and rectify the issue for you. Also, the stove top vent is being looked at. With homes of this size and constant use week to week, there’s bound to be something despite our best efforts. Thank you for your stay and we do hope to welcome you back sometime soon.

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback and for choosing to stay with us. We are thrilled to hear that your group enjoyed the privacy of the beach, the spacious layout, and the well-stocked kitchen! We sincerely apologize for the communication lapses regarding the beach gear and the Keurig; we always aim to provide precise details, so we will be updating our property information to ensure future guests know exactly what to expect. Most importantly, we are sorry for the delay in getting the pool heater back up and running. While we are glad we could get it resolved for the latter half of your stay, we understand that every day of vacation is precious. We are currently reviewing our maintenance and follow-up protocols to ensure we respond more swiftly to similar issues in the future. We truly value your ‘near five-star’ endorsement and hope to have the chance to provide you with a perfect stay next time you’re in the area!

So happy to see that you enjoyed your stay! When visiting Captiva again, please let us know as we'd love to welcome you back.

Thank you so much for your review. So sorry for the landscaping as they wanted to minimize the disruption as best they could. We’d love to welcome you back any time
