About the host
Hosted by Kristina Kapeller
It's been a dream of ours to venture into the world of short term rentals. One of my favorite things to do is stay in unique places that make me feel inspired, relaxed, and recharged. We finally had the opportunity to give that same experience back to guests and we decided to take it. This is our first short term rental and we hope it's everything your soul was needing.
Why they chose this property
My Dad bought a cabin in Ellijay in 2006 that he owned for nearly 20 years. I spent half of my childhood and early adulthood coming up to the mountains, exploring the apple festival, drinking at wineries, and finding bliss amongst the treetops. In 2024, my Dad made the retirement decision to sell his cabin. Now with a family of my own, we knew we couldn't let go of the mountains that easily. Our son was born in 2023 and we wanted him to have the same joy of experiencing North GA the same way I did.
What makes this property unique
We wanted to create a rustic cabin experience that felt elevated and luxurious. We went the extra mile to get mattresses and recliners that were extremely comfortable, a record player to build a collection with, and kitchen utensils that made you feel like you wouldn't have to eat out for every meal. Our cabin is also in a premium location in a complex that's easy to navigate and offers a lake. You'll have easy access to both Blue Ridge and Ellijay and will have your visit packed with exciting things to do and explore.
