My husband and I spent a week at this unit at the Deauville and we felt like we were in a brand new hotel suite. All the kitchenware and towels were new and it even came with two terry cloth robes for us to wear while going to the spa at night. It was quiet and convenient to the pool and parking. We'll definitely come back.

A Very Nice Unit

The Deauville Condos great advantage are their location. It's a very short walk to Palm Canyon Drive and the downtown shops and restaurants. This is a real plus. There is a very sizeable swimming pool, which is heated to a good temperature during the winter months. It's as well to remember that a lot of the pools in Palm Springs are not. Two good quality tennis courts, one of which is floodlit. Julie's unit itself is similar in design to all the others, but she has decorated it in a modern style which means there is good light. Another important point to consider. It is situated in the centre of the complex making it more secure than might be the case round the outside. Not too near the pool which means it's quiet. All in all a very good choice.

The Most Beautiful Condo and a Relaxing Trip

One of the Most Relaxing Trips to Palm Springs. I went to Palm Springs in May, worried about the heat, but was treated to beautiful weather and spent every minute possible on the patio, not inside with A/C. This unit at the Deauville has an inviting large private gated patio with two chaise lounges on which to relax and a table with four chairs for outdoor dining. The patio gets morning sun and a lot of light. I enjoyed having breakfast and coffee in the mornings before I went to the exercise room for my daily workout. The big plus for me is that it never got too hot in the afternoons due to the shade and warm breeze on the patio. Inside, the place is fully stocked and has great amenities such as stainless appliances, wine and margarita glasses, all new furniture, and an entertainment center. At night, I walked every day to town (about a 5-10 minute walk and only three short blocks away) to hear live music and for dinner. I especially enjoyed being so close to the Thursday night street fair and loved the outside patio at the brand new Tommy Bahama restaurant. Great for people watching and misters to keep cool. I also walked to the Palm Springs Art Museum for the Andy Warhol exhibition. I think the point is, you can’t beat the location, and this unit is a complete gem, being completely remodeled, fit with a huge flat screen TV, very fast WIFI, and two full bathrooms. The owner was easy to communicate with and it’s obvious she has the pride of ownership and wants her renters to feel like it’s their own vacation home. If you’re traveling by air like I was, you are only a few miles from the airport, which is convenient after a long day of travel. It was a terrific stay, and I highly recommend this unique and quiet unit at the Deauville for it’s a great location within the complex and the easy walk to town.

Great Condo - Can't do better at the Deauville

We have been renting this unit for two months for a few years and recommend it highly. As noted by others it has been nicely renovated, which is not true for some units at the Deauville, and has everything one needs for short or long stay. The owner takes meticulous care of the property and is constantly upgrading - a new dishwasher and washer/drier this year. Julie is very responsive and immediately fixes or replaces anything that needs attention.

Charming apartment close to all that "old" Palm Springs offers.

We stayed at the Deauville for the month of January 2019. It had been about a decade since we stayed in Palm Springs as we have been staying in Palm Desert for our sunshine vacations. We were looking forward to staying in Palm Springs again and the Deauville was to be our home for a month. The apartment is nicely furnished and had everything we needed to make our stay complete. If we had wanted to dine out, there were dozens of good restaurants only a short walk away. However, we dined in most evenings and found the kitchen to be well-equipped to meet our needs. In addition, there was a great new barbecue for those times we wanted to grill. The king size bed was very comfortable The Deauville has a large and very clean pool and hot-tub that we enjoyed as well.The grounds are beautifully landscaped and manicured. A real bonus at this time of the year was that the lemon, orange and grapefruit trees on the property were heavy with newly ripened fruit. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and was very responsive to us those few times we had a question or request.

Perfect Palm Springs retreat

We have been to Palm Springs many times but this was our first time staying at Deauville. It will certainly not be our last. This was, by far, the best Palm Springs accomodation we have ever rented. The location is fabulous. A short walk into downtown is an amazing asset. Plenty of under cover parking spaces mean a no hassle entry and exit to the gated Deauville. The apartment is superb. Recently remodelled with beautiful furnitures and furnishings. Plenty of beautiful glasses, crockery (enough for 12place settings) , cutlery, pots, pans and gadgets make the kitchen a joy to use. Every single thing we needed was there, at hand and in immaculate condition. Kettle, coffee maker, toaster, huge fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble drier. What else could you need? The bedroom is perfect and the bed is oh sooooo comfortable. Bed linens and big, fluffy towels were plentiful and having two bathrooms was superb. Gorgeous bath robes made this feel like a really posh hotel. The outside area has a barbecue and a table with seating for 5 for al fresco dining. Also 2 extremely comfortable loungers to relax on. Heavenly. The grounds and pools at Deauville are beautiful and all very well maintained. When we were there it was so peaceful and quiet that many an afternoon nap was had by the pool. Julie the owner is so nice. She called us to make sure we had settled in and had everything we needed. Caring but never intrusive. She has the most remarkable local knowledge and her restaurant recommendations were great. A lovely lady who obviously loves Palm Springs and her home there. Another Wonderful Stay at the Deauville

My husband and I returned to Julie's lovely condo at the Deauville for two months in the winter of 2018. This was our third year renting her unit and, as our history suggests, I can't speak more highly of the property and our experience renting from her. This unit is exactly as described and pictured on VRBO. It was renovated about four years ago, has updated kitchen appliances and a bright airy appearance. Our favorite space is the large balcony with an eating area, grill and chaise. Julie keeps the condo in tip-top shape and is constantly replacing items that get worn and adding new features such as the new mattress and reading lamp this year. We have had nothing but first-rate service from Julie. She has a very professional approach, responds quickly to any situation that arises and quickly replaces items that might wear out, e.g., this year it was a coffeemaker. The Deauville is a wonderful community with many attractive features, a large pool, two small pools, two tennis courts and three hot tubs. The grounds are very attractive and well kept with beautiful landscaping. We have found the owners and renters to be very friendly. You can engage as much or little as you wish. Can't go wrong with this property.

Even Better the Second Time

This was my second time staying in this unit at the Deauville and I couldn’t be happier. The owner is meticulous with maintaining the place to perfection. Just like the other reviewers said, the location of the property and the fine detail with the decor and amenities, makes this unit particularly desirable with repeat guests like myself. I particularly liked reading the paper and having my coffee on the patio in the mornings, and walking just a few blocks to town. Check the calendar and book this unit before it fills up. I’ll be back again.

Clean, modern, confortable and a pleasure to stay.

Very nice unit, modern and clean. The kitchen is well equipped and was easy to cook (a hand held lemon/orange squeezer would be a nice addition). I accidently broke the coffee bowl and the owner had one delivered to our doorsteps in two days.The patio is very quite and has a BBQ which is new and is excellent; we used it quite often. Only a few steps from tennis courts and swimming pools but back enough from them so you do not get any noises. Also it only takes a few minutes walk to downtown shops and restaurants as well. We look forward to return again next spring. We highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful condo

We spent a month in this condo and were happy that this property was meticulously maintained and in pristine condition. We like to walk, so it was easy to walk a few blocks to town for music and dining. The location can’t be beat and there is so much to do or simply relax by the lovely pool. Very lovely -in a great complex

This was our 2nd visit to the Deauville complex and Julie's unit fit it to a "T". She has beautifully decorated and, perhaps more important, fully outfitted the kitchen with more than enough dishes, glasses, and utensils. If we looked - it was there. The towels are thick and full, the sheets soft. As with all units 2 full bathrooms are a treat. Sleeping is easy on a very comfortable mattress. Having family on the East Coast we appreciated the included long distance. Very nice outdoor space. Suggest you read her information book found on the kitchen counter to find the pool floats and other useful information.

Excellent stay

This is the best condo unit of the many we have stayed at in the past. The resort itself is large and well looked after with beautiful landscaping. There is one large pool and 2 smaller ones all with their own hot tubs. The condo was on the first floor with a large comfortable outside balcony/patio. Inside, the condo was quite spacious with lovely comfortable modern furniture and accessories. The owner Julie was very helpful. Always available by phone or email if we had any questions or needed help. We stayed for a month and met many fellow owners who made us feel very welcome. They have a weekly app/drink get together every Wednesday at 5:00 in their club house to which all guests/owners are invited. Thanks Julie for a wonderful stay. Look forward to a future stay at your condo.

Wonderful time at the Deauville

We love vacationing in Palm Springs and this trip to the Deauville was nothing short of perfect. The complex didn't feel crowded at all, so it was easy to relax. Walking to town at night was easy to do, as it was just a few blocks away. The shaded patio at this unit was big enough for a party of 12, although we were only two people. What's great about this unit is that it's remodeled, while many others at the Deauville still are not. Since there were two flat screen TVs inside, we could each watch different programs without getting in each other's way. There were enough dishes for an entire month, so the owner didn't scrimp on anything. The wood floors were easy to maintain and appeared cleaner than a carpeted unit. I'd like to mention that there are two full bathrooms, which is rare for a one bedroom unit. We had his and her bathrooms, each with its own hairdryer. It's a first floor unit, but there are still a few stairs leading up to the private patio. The only regret we have is that we had to pack up and leave. Thanks for a terrific vacation at a place we enjoyed calling home.

Perfect for a relaxing stay in Palm Springs

The Deauville property was fantastic, the unit beautifully decorated, modern, and with the feel of classic Palm Springs in a great location, close to the center of town and convenient to all of the restaurants and shops. Everything was just as it was depicted in the pictures and listing. The owner, Julie, was very conscientious, meeting me personally at check-in to acquaint me with the unit and the property. Plenty of information to help an out-of-towner settle in. The unit contained everything that we needed for our stay, the kitchen was modern, the bedroom extremely comfortable, and the amazing patio was quiet and the perfect spot for morning coffee, lunch, or an afternoon cocktail. Julie checked in with us during the stay to make sure that everything was in order (everything was perfect!), she clearly loves Palm Springs and her unit, and it shows in her hospitality and consideration for her guests. The Deauville was fantastic, convenient underground parking, wonderful grounds and pools that were quiet and relaxing, even in the summer heat. Close enough to walk into town. We couldn't be happier with our choice, would definitely recommend and return to the next time we're in Palm Springs.

FABULOUS PALM SPRINGS CONDO

My husband and I booked this unit at the Palm Springs Deauville based on the photos on VRBO. In all honesty, the photos didn't do the unit justice. The location (close to downtown) and privacy of this unit were beautiful. Once we walked inside, we were so delighted to see such a pristine condo, with a warm feel to it, and amenities that you'd find in a luxury hotel. The owner has decorated this newly remodeled unit with the cheery colors of Palm Springs (white, yellow, and turquoise with silver accent pieces). In our closet, there were two terry cloth robes for us to use when we went to the spa at night, and a hotel type of suitcase rack. I haven't seen this in other condos. There are three pools, three jacuzzis and two tennis courts on the property, all within walking distance. The kitchen seemed large with a nice open floor plan with granite counters and stainless appliances. There was a small washer/dryer right inside the unit for our convenience. It was a quiet location and we will definitely be returning again next year.

A Marvelous Month at The Deauville

Our month at this condo was superb. Loving the heat, we followed the sun to escape the Australia winter and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Deauville and at this condo -- such a thoughtful and well decorated place. It is clean, modern, fun, has terrific amenities. Everything we could have needed or wanted was right there. Especially loved sitting on the condo's spacious patio in the early mornings and going in one of the multiple hot tubs late in the evening. An ideal holiday. Can't wait to be back.

Every Possible Amenity and Comfort -- The Perfect Home Away From Home

We stayed in this unit for a month while our home was being remodelled, and it was one of our most enjoyable vacation experiences ever. Julie met us and personally welcomed us, and every possible comfort had been taken into account in this perfectly-located and beautifully-maintained home. From the sleek lines of the designer furniture to the lovely linens and towels, the plentiful dishes and glasses, the thoughtfully color-coordinated decor items, numerous telephones, terrific high speed internet, impressive flat screen televisions, pool toys and terrycloth bathrobes, and a lovely patio with a huge barbecue and convivial seating, you may just feel that your own home could benefit from some of the wonderful touches this unit offers. Great time at the Deauville...

Our stay in this crisp clean condo was very refreshing. The location could not be better. Located just off the main boulevard in Palm Springs, it seemed that everything possible was only a moments walk away. The pools and the facilities are top notch. There was a very calming energy to place.

We spent a month in this lovely condo and could not have been more pleased with the condo, the complex or the location. This was our first visit to Palm Springs and it certainly won't be our last. Julie met us at check-in and walked us through the condo and the grounds. There are 3 pools, nice gym and well groomed grounds. The condo is just 2 blocks walk to downtown Palm Springs with great restaurants, bars and the Thursday night street fair which was great fun. We walked everywhere! The condo is well appointed and clean. We especially enjoyed the large patio and grill. A quiet, gated community that we were pleased to call home for a month.

Beautiful contemporary, spotlessly clean one bedroom condo. Landlady was excellent to work with....prompt answers to e-mails and questions; even phoned us a few times. Directions from the Palm Springs airport to the condo were excellent. The landlady even had her parents meet us at the condo and show us around the property. Brand new dishes, appliances, towels. Landlady ensured that the condo would be clean in time for our arrival in Palm Springs. Just a nice 4 block walk to the restaurants and shops on flat terrain. There are 6 or 7 steps to get into the condo but not onerous if you are in average condition for a Senior. The Casino is one block away(but very smokey) as smoking is allowed indoors. The only negative was that the main bathroom tub drips if you don't have the knack for clearing the water from the shower head. Great accommodation! Jump at it, as it already has bookings for 2016.

My wife and I have vacationed in Palm Springs for many years and this was our first stay at the Deauville and we LOVED IT!! It is the perfect well maintained resort with underground parking, three swimming pools, a gym and tennis courts and Julie's unit is only steps away from everything. Staying in this unit was like staying in a luxury boutique hotel nestled in a Luxury Resort. We have already booked our return visits. Check the Calendar for open dates and book it. We've been coming to Palm Springs on and off for over 40 years and fell in love with the beautiful Deauville over 30 years ago. Originally from the East Coast, we decided to give up the cold winter weather and enjoy the sunshine and breathtaking views of Mt. San Jacinto in a town we now call home.

Every guest since we started renting this has taken such great care of this unit, and everyone has received 100% of their security deposits returned. Because we are privately owned and managed, we take great pride in being available for any special requests or issues that come up.

We take extra measures to sanitize our property in between guest stays, and provide disposable gloves and masks, along with hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial soap at every sink.
